New Video: LeToya Luckett – ‘Used To’

Published: Monday 17th Apr 2017 by Sam

LeToya Luckett continues to flex her acting muscles ahead of the release of new album ‘Back 2 Life’ (due May 12th).

Case in point ‘Used To.’

The cinematic clip picks up after the visual for the LP’s title track, which was released in January.

Clocking in at over 10-minutes, Ms. Luckett certainly is proving generous with her output this era – holding true to her promise of delivering a video series to support her project.

Check out the vid, which co-stars Thomas Q. Jones, below…

Quality visuals + good music = formula for success. She’s a great actress. I’m ready to support when the album drops! Side note: Did she sample lyrics anderson’s ‘hello’ song?

Wow! I was so into the story, the song kind of threw me. But, Toya is a stunner! Like movie beautiful, that short cut is a look she should keep! Trap is f***** w my music and it’s pissin me off. Toya’s voice was still sickening on the song, just dont care for this sound for her. I’d rather her go rnb pop than this. One of my favorite songs by her is this pop rnb type batter up type song, and should have been a banger for her.

LOVED IT!!! Wow. I am so engaged with Letoya this time round – the story telling is fresh and she does it so well – nobody out here dropping this video format – you don’t need a $3mill budget when you got production values, a story and a beautiful singer and actress to execute it to perfection.
