New Video: Major Lazer, Nicki Minaj, & PARTYNEXTDOOR – ‘Run Up’

Published: Wednesday 12th Apr 2017 by Sam

Nicki Minaj‘s flood of the airwaves continues.

This time it’s by way of Major Lazer‘s flavorsome new single ‘Run Up’ which also features PARTYNEXTDOOR.

With the song wracking up over 200 million streams since its debut, its Paul, Luc, Martin directed video arrives right on time.

Speaking on the concept of the clip, which was unveiled moments ago, the trio say:

“The idea was to laugh at ourselves and at the unconditional love we bear to our smartphones. Humor and absurdity came naturally in our speech because our will was not to accuse someone or something but just exaggerate it to foster reflection.”

Decent vid for a decent song.

Wash, rinse, repeat! Good lord all this ish sounds the same and isn’t worth airplay or downloads. It amazes me how producers and artists say they are in the studio for months and they come out with the same $hit as everybody else. This is a throw away track and is only fit for fat girl rom com soundtrack! Skip skip skip skip!

my girl. god is blessing you and the nonbelievers and haters are mad. 2017 is your year if it wasnt they wouldnt be so mad. youre winning while a bunch of men who wish they were women constantly tear you down. theyre mad because youre successful and everything they wish they could be, as a woman. sad’t.

Definitely a waist of time. All the songs she’s featured on are straight trash and has me wondering about her album. The whole rap/sing/rap thing…she does this all the damn time! It only really sounded legitimately good in “Proud of You”! Not even hating just calling it as it is, she been weak as f*** lately. Give us quality NOT quantity, through out a bunch of songs and videos at the same time doesn’t make you the queen it just make you look threatened.

Oversaturation is a real thing. Are any of these songs sticking for Ms. Minaj?

It’s finally all systems go for Fergie! The singer’s sophomore album ‘Double Dutchess’ has experienced a staccato roll-out, dating back to the 2014 launch of “lead” single ‘LA Love (La La).’ Subsequent singles followed in 2016 and then all went quiet. Until now. In a unique move, the Black Eyed Peas front-woman… Read More
