Azealia Banks Celebrates Public’s Response To Cosmetic Line

Published: Sunday 21st May 2017 by David

Azealia Banks has taken to her new social media handle to celebrate the success of her cosmetics line.

Advertised via her XoCheapy account, her products hit the net recently and- if reviews published by her patrons are anything to go by- are stellar. How stellar? They are selling out.

Do you think the media treats the controversial rapper fairly?

I don’t think they do. She has done a lot, made a lot of mistakes but she appears to moving into a better space where she achieving good things. Her soap collection is doing well, they appearing to be selling well which is impressive as there has been no media support and she has had her twitter account taken away for such a long period of time. Azealia has new music coming out over the next couple months and nobody is reporting it. Say what you will but she has had a massive impact on pop culture.

      An impact, yes. “Massive” though?

Literally no one would ever rap over a house beat until Azealia came along, Lady Gaga’s ARTPOP era was definitely influenced by Azealia – I don’t necessarily mean anything like Lil Kim but she’s only 25 you know

She made multiple mistakes, apologised and just kept making more. If you know that you cannot hold your tongue or like to over share or are just bat sh!t crazy then let someone else run your social media and focus on your music ,but she kept making national news but being racist and attacking people after the hype of 1 song and a few mixtape and songs.
I feel that Azealia has had her moment because once you have more news articles than songs you are remembered for all the wrong reasons….. Rita Ora
      Good luck to her anyway

Yeah they treat her fairly, she’s nuts. That said she is an amazing artist and it’s a little disappointing that her antics overshadow her talent.
