Bryson Tiller Announces New Album ‘True To Self’ / Releases 2 New Songs

Published: Thursday 11th May 2017 by Sam

Bryson Tiller fans ought to mark those calendars. Because the R&B star has announced the release date of his sophomore album ‘True To Self.’

The hotly anticipated set follows 2015’s ‘T R A P S O U L,’ which produced hits such as ‘Exchange’ and ‘Don’t.’

Offering the masses a preview of what to expect from his next set ahead of its June 23rd release, the RCA Records star has unwrapped not one but two new songs.

The first is ‘Somethin Tells Me,’ while the second is a Young Thug collaboration titled ‘Get Mine.’

Listen to both below…

We approve of both. Do you?

Honestly don’t like him st all. I tried my very best to get into him because everyone else has but I just can’t. Good luck to him tho, it’s not easy to make if in the music industry. Even though it’s easier to get in now thanks to technology, it’s hard to become a real true artist and have longevity at it thanks to technology!

why on earth would he release 2 songs if they are not official singles? I hate when artist do this because it kills all the hype from the first single.

Listened to the songs and disappointed in all 3 of them. I am a big Bryson fan and these tracks does nothing for me. You’ve been gone2 years and this the best you could come up with?

He took too long to come back. No ones checking.

All of his songs sound the same.

Well I like both songs & his style is a lot different from other acts out today…

I generally like his style and enjoyed #TrapSoul but it doesn’t sound as though he’s evolved his sound or improved his grating vocals at all. I can understand why he’s popular amongst a small set of super fans but he strikes me more as a MySpace artist than a major act with mass appeal. Good luck to him though.
