Rita Ora Teases New Music With Ed Sheeran

Published: Friday 5th May 2017 by Sam

When it was revealed that Rita Ora had signed with Atlantic Records, many wondered whether it’d see her team with some of the superstars on their roster.

Well, it looks like that didn’t take long to come to fruition. For, she’s working with Ed Sheeran.

In a mysterious clip shared on Instagram, the media maven is seen in what looks like a studio gazing into a camera with the ‘Shape Of You’ crooner by her side. A brief snippet of a song plays before it cuts out.

See what we mean…

If indeed a collaboration, it’d be a huge coup for Rita.

The road to her second album has been rocky to say the least following a long legal wrangle with former label Roc Nation.

In possibly pairing up with the most successful act on the charts, her campaign would be off to a flying start.

We’re buzzed. Are you?

Your thoughts?

Why won’t she just stop? We don’t need another Rihanna knock off.

Rita is jumping on another bandwagon.
The road to a second album had nothing to do with Roc Nation and everything to do with Calvin Harris and their break up as well as Rita stating that she wrote i will never let you down.
She has to be one of thee overrated artists ever who doesn’t even make music but wears nice dresses and poses on on instagram.
    The beat sounds teenibopperish

Okay…. I don’t know what you mean another bandwagon. Are u referring to Ed Sheehan writing pop hits for other artists because honestly its only happened once so far (Love Yourself) and it was a good pairing. Now I will admit that the beat doesn’t sound like anything special and just sounds like mainstream radio trash, but you never know as far as the melody and the actual song. I beg to differ on the Calvin break up not affecting her career. I Will Never Let You Down was her last real HIT and she would’ve probably had a worldwide No.1 album if they hadn’t had scrapped it…

Ed Sherman has written for 1Direction as well as The Weekend, Jesse Ware, Hilary Duff, Taylor Swift to name a few.
I think Dev was saying that her break up with Calvin actually played a part in the stalling of her second project.

Honestly Rita was killing it with Calvin Harris, and had they not’ve broken up, she would probably have so many hits and be a star here over an America. I mean people seem to love her, she’s got the personality and looks, she’s gotta the sponsors, she’s got the budget behind her, the label support. Once she finds her musical soulmate (alla Brandy/Darkchild, Aaliyah/Timbo, Britney/Max Martin) she’ll be solid. I mean she’s got the voice for sure. GO RITA GO!!

You inspire a question: Why is her budget so big?!?! They’ve been trying to sell this girl to us for years now, while more polished & eatablished acts get a week or so of big budget promotion. Who is funding her? All these misses can’t be cheap.

As sad as this might be, Im ready to give her a shot and hear what she has to cook up, Those previous efforts wasnt worth shitt, Maybe she has grown….
