Though doing little to support sales of Khaled’s set ‘Grateful’, the song finds itself gliding to glory thanks to sales and streams generated by praise garnered by Rihanna’s performance in its visual.

“Thoughts,” from Khaled’s new album, Grateful, released Friday (June 23), and which samples Santana’s “Maria Maria,” a 10-week Hot 100 No. 1 (featuring The Product G&B) in 2000, marks Rihanna’s 31st top 10, the third-best total dating to the Hot 100’s Aug. 4, 1958, launch.

I just stated normal thoughts. I don´t know if it hurts that Rihanna is not on that group of real monumental success stories or what is it, but all I said was valid and true.
Going by that logic that only Adele achieved colossal success, I can tell the same about Michael Jackson compared to your faves. He was selling over 60 million of Thriller while basic, generic, one-trick pony Celine and Mariah couldn’t even sell half of it (he did it multiple times though). They are flops compared to him, not to mention that their disposable, horrible, stupid, retarded ‘music’ (failed attempt of re-making Aretha’s greatness happen) is rightfully considered a big fat joke and garbage by music critics. And during that time both Celine and Mariah achieved their own colossal success-both earning multiple diamond certified albums and iconic hit ballads. and they all did it without streaming bullsh*t or billboard changing their rules every 5 minutes. thats john vidal’s point. Without billboard cheating & changing the rules for these new artists, Rihanna would have never made it past ‘pon de replay’.
