Too long of. Break. And he didn’t release anything in a long time. He isn’t years in with a long career, he is only on album number 2 and fans are fickle, we switch every 5 mins and forget what we like. He should have at lease release some features or promotional songs to keep his name and voice out in the public.

I agree! Let’s hope it won’t flop, I like Sam Smith and I loved his first album, a truly timeless body of work.

Have you seen Adele’s career? She didn’t release anything between everything album and always took some time to cook up the best. Did she flopped? Never. Why? Because her first album was sensational, she marked minds just like Sam did so you shouldn’t worry for him, everything will be fine.

Well Adele had 18, which wasn’t big compared to 21, so she had 2 albums to fill everyone’s time. She had multiple big singles where Sam only had 1 mega hit, a good follow up and went kinda mia on the charts. People craved Adele, idk if people are craving him so much as his worldwide sells are less than Adele’s US sales.

It hasn’t been too long though. He’s a different type of pop artist.

I don’t support music made by homosexuals.

I think it helps that he was taken into the bosom so closely by white culture.., that doesn’t happen for every white pop star, just ask Duffy. However, it’s difficult to say whether audiences have any more interest in singers who sing. Everyone is dumbing down their vocals to appease the HipHop/TrapPop climate. I’m not sure audiences have appetite left for warblers who aren’t personally interesting.

I?m amazed, I must say. Seldom do I come across a blog that?s equally educative and engaging,
and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. The problem
is an issue that not enough folks are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy that I came across this in my search for
    something concerning this.
