#KatyCats rejoice!
For, without further adieu, ‘Witness’ – the long-awaited new album from Katy Perry – has finally arrived on shelves. Kicked off by the politically-tinged tune ‘Chained to the Rhythm,’ the set’s celebrated two follow-up charting singles – ‘Bon Appetit’ & ‘Swish Swish’ – in the four month promo campaign it’s been afforded leading up to its release this morning.
As mixed critical reviews continue to flood in, ‘Witness’ has admittedly not seen the buzz and excitement its predecessors have been greeted with. In fact, the album comes as Perry’s first to be released without a #1 single to precede it.
Will all this spell trouble for its short-term and long-term sales? Or, will hearing the project in full help persuade those on the fence about purchasing it? Time will tell.

This turd is PROOF that the music industry is RIGGED and FORCED for some artists lol…despite having absolutely no direction and buzz, the mess continues…why? Cause Katy already has this year and next year planned and booked! She’ll keep going like everything is platinum lol…we’ll see her EVERYWHERE like Sh!tness is the ish…it’s like when Nicki opened the Billboard Awards despite having NO HITS lol…for NINE MINUTES like she was Michael Jackson lol…she performed a BUBBLING UNDER like it was a monster smash…ya’ll know what I’m talking about…it’s getting laughably bad…Chris Brown can release 10 more clunkers and still stay in the game…
Very true. We are seeing the same 30 or so acts every year and half like they are still hot. Britney spears is being talked about like its 2001 and getting coverage like that. Songs sound identical . we are not seeing new artist get the shine these old cats are getting even though they are passed their prime.
