Jagged Edge Drop New Album

Published: Thursday 20th Jul 2017 by David

Jagged Edge has returned to the world with new music!

Standing as their ninth set, The Layover’ made its way to the scene hours ago and treats fans to sixteen original numbers penned to honour the twenty years the group has enjoyed as one of R&B’s leading groups.

Why they’ve chosen to go the independent route?

There were a lot of big companies that made Jagged Edge a household name, but at this point in time it’s all Jagged Edge. It’s all black-owned.

Your thoughts?

These songs all sound the same. I think this album is mainly for fans. I don’t see how they will regain any market standing with this album.

Just listened to it and they DID that.
The sound / production is standard for today’s R&B music.
But their voices blend so well and the lyrics were living and deep like they were before.
I’m so glad that they went Independent route
