R. Kelly Issues Statement Denying Abusive “Sex Cult” Allegations

R. Kelly is fighting back.

The R&B singer found himself at the center of yet another scandal today when a BuzzFeed exposé alleged that he is operating a “sex cult” and holding indoctrinated women “against their will.”

In a statement issued to TMZ, a rep for the 50-year-old star says he refutes every aspect of the claims. It read:

“Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed by the recent revelations attributed to him. Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such accusations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name.”

And the plot thickens.

Your thoughts?

This is definitely a ploy. I’m not even going to get into it with the whole Aaliyah thing because she never came forward and said anything about it nor has anyone ever asked her in any interview or whatsoever when she was still kicking on this side of the grass. And that video somebody said was R.Kelly you can definitely tell that wasn’t Kells by far. There are real predators in Hollywood and I highly doubt Kells is one of them after all theses years.

He’s had multiple lawsuits against him over the years that we didn’t know about. Also one of the females has a video recording of him talking about sexual encounters and demanding she tell him what color panties she’s wearing each day.

If you only saw one s** tape video then you are CLEARLY not dealing with full information and basing your opinions on your fandom rather than historical evidence. There were indeed 2 s** tapes and you can find them online. It is R. Kelly in the videos. In 1992, he released the song “She’s Got The Vibe” which mentions Aaliyah as a sexual object (she was 13 in 1992). Also, it is well known that R. Kelly is a p******** and the only reason he is tolerated by fans is because his music was good and he stopped getting caught having s** with women under 18, but to say he is a cult leader is certainly a STRETCH. He is a p******** that seems to have learned how to check the DOB on IDs by now and legally those women are there by choice. Sidenote, I think Barry Hankerson knew about him and Aaliyah back in the day (he co-wrote “She’s Got The Vibe”) and is a low-down gutter person.
