Jojo has proven herself quite the fighter over her career, so it’s only fitting her comeback narratives continues to pencil in “wins.”
After launching her long-awaited third album, ‘Mad Love’ (courtesy of Atlantic Records), last year to critical acclaim (and a top 10 debut on the Billboard 200), the singer is getting more of that – mad love – from other major record labels in the industry, namely Interscope.
There, the Urban pop powerhouse has inked a deal to launch her own imprint. See the details inside:
Go JoJo! Our ears are already anxiously awaiting ‘Mad’s follow-up! We’re here for your continued rewards.
she just needs a slightly bigger budget and she could take over
Every artist at this point should be recording under their own imprint and partnering with a major for distribution. The reason being, these artists have to fund most of their projects through touring anyway. With their own imprint, expenses can be charged to their company as business expenses rather than out of their own pockets, reducing financial risk and giving the artist more creative control over their projects.
Hopefully she finds REAL vocalist much like herself!!
She should be having great success. She is awesome..
Awww bless her. VERY PLEASED FOR HER ??
Finally she can live her career as she wants to. I wish her the very best and hopes success will keep growing for her company.
I’m rooting for JoJo! Love her!
That “brand new naive 13 y/o” was a more consistent artist and with better music than any other time in JoJo’s life. She should NEVER discredit her early years; they are a favorite with most fans and that much is obvious if you go to one of her shows.
