Taking to social media moments ago, the 25-year-old shared a photo of a billboard in London trumpeting a September 8th launch for new music:
The confirmation comes on the heels of an open letter the crooner penned to fans yesterday, which revealed that his new material would be arriving “very very very” soon.
Needless to say, next Friday defines that.
Smith’s sophomore set follows 2014’s ‘In The Lonely Hour,’ which sold 7.1 million globally and spawned hits such as ‘Stay With Me.’
With newness from the likes of Taylor Swift, Pink, and now Mr. Smith, Q4 is heating up in a major way.

For some reason, I’m not as excited about his new music as I was Adele’s. Maybe it because he’s been away too long? I’ll have to read reviews, before I get into it.
