We’re ready. It’s easy to write her off, but we’re of the belief that she still has the ability to deliver something qualitative. It’s just about having the right infrastructure in place to push it.

Ashanti is pretty and is ALWAYS dressed to the tenth degree, but her music career is FINISHED! I’m sorry. Releasing music is totally a waste of her time at this stage of the game.

Not really, she still has a base even if it isn’t a 600k 1st week base. Also since she’s independent on her own label she makes more dough.

Ashanti has the ability to come back needs to be put out there literally like realli ashanti come on.
I think she can do it. Braveheart wasnt bad

Going independent was her biggest mistake . With no machine behind her , her videos are whack , single choices whack . She’s needs a team who can recreate the magic of her first three albums , because she still has a niche of her own . Her music is very signature , and could still make waves . It’s just the poor single choices and lack of video budget.

Always happy to hear some new true RnB music but she should be on the Love and HipHop franchise

I’m ready cause Braveheart was a pretty good album and even though she was independent she still sold more than a few r&b artist that year who were on major labels

    • Bam October 10, 2017

Exactly and pocketed more because of it.

Well what’s amazing to me is she can sing other folks songs better than her own…

    • BeyKnowlesBest October 10, 2017

      like whom?

    • AnonymousTruth October 11, 2017

It’s because of how she writes …it’s kind of basic . Not like huge classic love songs . But basic R&B.
She doesn’t write songs that are hard to sing , but because they’re so basic they’re easy to just sound flat and boring whilst singing .

When she sings other people’s songs that are big ballads , she stretches her voice more to match those tones and keys . But she can’t write music like that’s.

I think the slowness with releasing new material has caused many of her fans to not even care about whatever new music she is recording. Black Female artists should use Beyonce and Rihanna as examples that releasing frequent regular music is the way to go in the current music sales market because sales really come from the quantity and not the quality of music being released. Taking years and years to make a new album means that you no longer want to hustle.
