‘Bodak Yellow’ beauty Cardi B was seeing red after a Hilton in Albany, NY – with a little help from local law enforcement – kicked her out for her room allegedly reeking of marijuana.
The rapstress denies the allegations, saying it was the hall – not her room specifically – emitting the smells. Get the details inside:
The rapstress ranted:
“The floor that I was staying in in my hotel room, it smelled like weed. So the cops came in the middle of the night, knocking on my manager and on my door, talking about that we were smoking weed and we gotta get kicked out,” the former “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star said in an Instagram video.

Once word got back to local law officials, a rep had this to say:
“They may have been a little loud, which is something they even acknowledged with the officers,” public information officer Steven A. Smith said. “When the officers arrived at the second floor room, Cardi B’s crew and manager were already preparing to pack up and leave the hotel, because they were informed to do so by hotel management prior to the police arriving.”
Smith – who admits Cardi and her team were respectful and compliant – understands the rapstress’s concern.
“She was rightfully upset with hotel staff, who again made the decision they had to leave,” the officer explained.
