I have always said that her voice was made for these type of Disney/Animated film songs. I think “Almost Home” was great but was overlooked by her own fans.

Agreed, Almost Home was a great song. Sadly, her fans prefer when she does weak, generic pop/r&b with simple lyrics.

Time for a new avi… Paul.

It fits him perfectly. A drugged out, cesspool looking c#nt, with the IQ of dog s###.

No way. I’m a massive fan, and loves these kinds of songs. Wish Disney had made her a princess back in the day.

It´s just that she herself doesn´t like pop songs as much as the music she usually makes now. But she obviously can do many genres.

In all fairness, Mariah has had ample time to put out the music she “loves” lol…now it’s time to put out the music that WE love…like, FOR REAL…this song is a breath of fresh air…but let me stop saying that before I see The Star Remix feat. French Montana and Cardi B

It’s good, but it doesn’t move me the same way “When You Believe” still does.

    • Shaquiiii October 21, 2017

I don’t think the movie is that deep.

Wow, her vocals sound strong and clear. Exceptional vocal performance, it may not be “miss you most at christmas time”. but it is still very beautiful.

    Soundtrack queen

It is great. Her musicality is crazy still these days. She sounds better with her damged voice in teh stodio than 95% of people now in mainstream in the same studios. That´s how much things have declines. She has written for many music genres but Xmas music is really one of the genres that inspires her most.
