The Numbers Are In! Pink Powers To #1 With Huge Sales

Published: Friday 20th Oct 2017 by Sam

The Billboard 200 will be glowing an electric shade of Pink this week because the superstar singer has topped the tally with new album ‘Beautiful Trauma.’

Find out how the numbers add up after the jump…

According to Hits Daily Double, the ‘What About Us’ led will open with:

407,000
[Sales Plus Streaming]

***********
384,000
[Pure Sales]

Interestingly, the much talked about tour ticket bundle added almost 200k to the total.

In any case, Pink now has the biggest debut of 2017 by a female artist, and the third biggest opening since streaming was added to the charts. She’s bested only by Adele (3.4m) and Beyonce (653k). What’s more, ‘Beautiful’ serves as the fourth largest (consumption) debut overall behind Kendrick LamarDrake and Ed Sheeran.

What else is there to say other than:

SLAY!

Seriously, i”m shocked. Wish she would do a little more Rnb like the first cd but love her

Whatever the case a job well done and besides that her promotion game has been on point thus far. So kudos to you P!nk.

I have always liked Pink, she has a cool personality and is a good person, I also love the Like a Virgin inspired cover of the album, my favorite songs from her are “Just Like a Pill” and “Who Knew”. Her sales are great even without the tour ticket bundle in this disastrous music climate.

SECRETS is my favorite record lifted from P!NKS seventh full-fledged studio album!

Hmmm….over half came from ticket bundling. Ok. Let’s see how big the drop will be next week.

I’m not saying this in a negative way… but some people try way too hard to find similarities. There’s nothing to look there.
Anyway… congratulations Pink. Her concerts are worth attending, she’s serving performance + live vocals. That’s how you do it.
This album is good for the ballads, the uptempos not really as far as I’m concerned. To each their own.

So . . . she woulda still sold almost 200k w/o the bundle. Impressive numbers either way.

A few other artists did tour bundles as well. What y’all don’t get is that you still have to redeem those albums. Two, she would have sold close to or around 200k without a top ten single. That is AMAZING! Thirdly, just because you do a tour bundle doesn’t mean that you will sale loads of albums. This is INCREDIBLE!!

Pink has the best pure sales this year

    384,000

    Kendrick 353k
    Ed Sheeran 322k
    Drake 202k

    DAMNNNNNNNN She killed that!!!

Love how hypocritical this site is ! When Rihanna had 1.4 million people redeeming her album billboard didn’t count that and she got roasted alive on here for bad sales but the album went on to have 5 platinum singles 3 of which are multi platinum and is nearing 4.5 million sps! Smh

I loved when Pink first came out, She was urban/R&B and her voice is nice. I ended up getting the CD, I guess LA Reid that so too.
