Usher Offers Fresh Response To Herpes Allegations

Published: Wednesday 11th Oct 2017 by David

There seems to be ‘No Limit’ to the drama Usher finds himself facing these days.

With his multi-platinum sights set on his new album, the icon finds himself forced to battle potentially baseless claims that he knowingly infected his sexual partners with the Funk.

This week, he has filed legal documents he hopes will put an end to the drama once…and for all.

Usher’s attorney, Steve Sadow, stated in the documents…

With a one in six chance that any given partner could have genital herpes, plaintiff assumed the risk of contracting an STD each and every time she chose to have unprotected sex with a casual, consensual party.

To be perfectly clear, Usher is not asking the court to pass moral or societal judgment on plaintiff. He is only seeking the correct application of the legal doctrine of assumption of risk as interpreted and construed in Georgia’s appellate decisions.

Court documents obtained before this revealed that the generous performer sent $1 million to a lady who accused him of infecting her. This, before three more of his alleged partners came forward seeking compensation for the same reason.

He has repeatedly denied that he infected anyone.

So basically he has it and they should have known the risks before sleeping with him.
    Messy on both sides.
This says a whole lot more of Usher than it does of them. Just saying.

No it is the truth. People like you are so quick to form a negative opinion on people but purposefully overlook the law. I have said all along that he did not do anything illegal. Consensual means both sides agreed to have s e x. Abstinence is the only way to avoid contracting an S**. If you have unprotected s e x with someone and catch a S T D then that is nobody’s fault but your because you should have used protection or practiced celibacy. It is only illegal when someone has the monster and knowingly passes that but all of the other S T Ds is fair game for passing and catching. Next time h o e s should close their legs and buts to men with no rubbers.

Let’s not stigmatize others by calling it “the monster”, learn more about it before you spew that. With treatment, that “monster” you write about can not be transmitted, unlike the other STI that this was posted about. If given the choice between the two or death, I’d have to pick “the monster” . If you knew better, you’d do better.

      • Jasmine October 11, 2017

I did not “stigmatize” anyone and it is a very common slang word to call that disease the monster. Sorry if I offended you but I think you are victimizing yourseld here because there is a strong difference between reffering to a disease with a slang word and calling people names.

I will continue calling that noncurable disease the monster. Never assume what I know and what I don’t. For example I know you have to legally tell your partners that you have the monster regardless if you think you are “undetected”. If you got the monster you must disclose it. That is the law!

      • Ari October 11, 2017

I assumed correctly because number 1 you’re sadly mistaken by non-curable because there has been a cure. Number 2: you don’t know that term, many people use originates from the ’80’s when there wasn’t much info on it, and people such as yourself perpetuate a situation for a time that is hence not here. If I can stop you from saying it, you can encourage others as well. The law is the law due to the beliefs during the ’80’s which haven’t been changed because of stereotypes and people such as yourself who continue to use monster to make people feel less than human. also shaming and criminalizing individuals who may have been placed into a situation such as this due to no fault of their own or people who make simple mistakes in life. I’m sorry, but perfection came before you and ended before you as well and his name was Jesus so be careful of the judgmental statements you make when you throw stones living in a glass castle.

      • Jasmine October 11, 2017

        1. There is NO cure for the monster! This is a FACT! I’m not falling for your “whoa is me” victimizing yourself routine. You know good and well that if you got the monster you can get treatment and continue living life. You just have to disclose that ish to your partners because that is the law! You do not get to dictate how people refer to a disease.

        2. You are full of wrong assumptions and self-pity. Nobody is attacking you here. That is all in your brain. I could care less if someone has the monster. That is their problem and not mine. I have sympathy and empathy for them but I will NOT tolerate self-victimization! I think anyone with the monster can seek treatment (through insurance or the free clinics). Thus, you need to just enjoy life and not worry about what other people think and STOP assuming people are against you when they really could be there for you.

      • Ari October 11, 2017

Girl bye I’m not finna argue with you, you’re ignorant. It’s not my job to educate you, but you will respect me.

      • Jasmine October 11, 2017

Keep victimizing yourself and thinking you are smarter than me if it makes you feel better about yourself. Im glad I helped validate your intellectual confidence. Im glad I gave you the skills and tools to get over your self-victimizing. You are welcome dear. 🙂

      • Ari October 11, 2017

Don’t flatter yourself. You probably would’ve done better with a college education if you allowed yourself to be taught, instead of telling me what you know. All of the information I posted comes from an infectious disease professional with 30 plus years of experience, I think I know who the expert is. Have a great day.

      • Bravo!! October 11, 2017

@Ari.. There is no cure for h***** or in the pass was there no cure. Researchers are now looking in to finding a cure. S** has risen since last year and H***** are one of them.

      • Jasmine October 11, 2017

@Ari The fact of the matter is that there is no cure for the monster! Period. Keep on preaching there is some imaginary cure that only you know about. You just make yourself look like a fool! Also, I do not tolerate anyone talking down, dissing me, or insulting my intelligence. I have respected you and shown only kindness to you thus far and expected the same. However, now that you have came for me like the disgusting b|tch you truly are I am going to check you. It is no one’s fault but your own that you have the monster. You have shown your true EVIL colors and judging by your nasty nature and b|tchiness karma served you good. Remember to tell your partners that you have the monster you evil b|tch. It is the law!

      • Ari October 11, 2017

Again, you have no intelligence, and if I did have this “monster” you speak of I would’ve found you by now and stomped your ass out for what you’re pulling online. And I would definitely smile in my mug shot before I go to jail “because it’s the law” B1tch

      • Ari October 11, 2017

And Jasmine when you get a PHD in medicine, with a concentration in immunology you can tell me more than a professional who works in the field can. Again, I’m trying to enlighten you, but you get offended because you’re a know it all. Unless I send for you don’t come for me.

      • Jasmine October 11, 2017

Ari you can never “enlighten” me. You are only capable of offending me so be gone evil b|tch. Do NOT ever threaten me again either. I have no tolerance for bullying. Remember you came at me first thinking you can dictate what I say while trying to victimize yourself and while insulting me (name calling and belittling). I kindly explained my point of you but you were not satisfied until you dragged the comments to this disgusting level of dialogue. You are also dumb as f u c k and think I would ever want to take advice from you, a pathetic nobody, who is impressed with simple accomplishments like a “PHD in medicine.” That is just a researcher and not somebody who is an MD. He is probably the one who told you that you are okay because you are “undetectable” which is somewhat true (as long as you keep taking your meds) but from a legal perspective you still have to disclose you have the monster to your partners. Like, I said before it is no one’s fault but your own that you have the monster. You truly are an evil person and I want nothing to do with you so go troll somebody else you disgusting diseased b|tch with them a n a l warts on your face and but.

  4. S****** Blonde October 11, 2017

This basically confirms that he has it and that he did sleep with those people, including the man ?

    • Caleb October 11, 2017

      You’re reaching.

    • Jasmine October 11, 2017

Are you on meth S******? Why are all your comments so idiotic and closed-minded? You clearly misread the article. His attorney is addressing the plaintiff (woman) that actually filed a lawsuit. How on earth can he defend himself against a rumor from a gay man that is hiding is identity? Until that gay man files an actual lawsuit Usher’s attorney has nothing to defend him against.

Basically they’re saying hey, that’s the risk you take when you have unprotected s**. Whether he has it (or not) and didn’t tell her is irrelevant. SHE has the responsibility to protect herself, just like anyone else. When you willingly get in bed with someone without protection, you can’t really blame the other person if you catch something.

  8. DanYiel Iman October 11, 2017

JUST ADMIT YOUR PASSING OUT THE PACKAGE!! ?

  9. Farrington October 11, 2017

My, I always knew Usher and more of the young stars are either closet Gay or down low guts. Most black men hide that side afraid of family or friend rejection. Usher is either confused or Gay.

    • Jasmine October 11, 2017

You misread. His attorney is addressing the plaintiff (woman) that actually filed a lawsuit. How on earth can he defend himself against a rumor from a gay man that is hiding is identity? Until that gay man files an actual lawsuit Usher’s attorney has nothing to defend him against.

  10. eric October 11, 2017

I’m disappointed in Usher and how reckless he apparently has been. If he didn’t have an S**, he could easily refute the claims with a test. If he never had s** with the woman, again he could end it by saying so. Legally, it doesn’t appear that he can truthfully say he doesn’t have an S** and/or that he didn’t sleep with the woman. That’s a very big problem regardless of the outcome. These men are stupid, Usher, Nelly, R. Kelly…

  11. Thando October 11, 2017

Well this “argument” is as good as an admission. What Usher’s saying is “if you sleep around, you have a 17% chance of contracting h***** (one in 6)”. He’s saying, whether I had it is irrelevant you risked it by letting me f*** you even though we are not in a committed relationship, meaning you sleep around and you have “casual partners”. It amazes me how people will put a celebrity on a pedestal even in the face of mounting evidence (R.Kelly, Bill Cosby whoever). Even if there was video footage of Usher f****** these people, its safe to say there are people who will never be convinced he gave these people h*****. YES INCLUDING the man, “John Doe”, and if we’re ALL being honest the streets have been talking since the early 2000s about Usher f****** bottoms in Atlanta. This is legal gymnastics by Usher trying to get as soft a landing as possible. Well hopefully it opens people’s eyes to BE SAFE at ALL TIMES. Usher is a heart throb KNOWINGLY giving people STIs, who’s to say other celebrities aren’t doing it. KEEP SAFE AND STRAPPED UP! In the end I don’t think this will have any lasting effect on Usher’s career (what’s left of it), maybe he’ll have less groupies to f*** but he’ll be just fine. “You got it, you got it BAD….” I’m sorry LMAO I couldn’t resist LOL. Poor Usher
