Ciara Slams Claims Of Christina Aguilera Shade: “She’s One Of The Best Singers Of Our Time”

Published: Monday 20th Nov 2017 by Sam

Last night during the 2017 American Music Awards, Christina Aguilera‘s tribute to Whitney Houston drew polarizing response.

Yours truly loved it (and will elaborate on that during our TGJ Roundtable later), however some on social media did not.

So much so that they drew on facial reactions from the likes of Pink and Ciara to support said feelings.

Pink first spoke up and out against the claims and now CiCi is too.

See what she said below…

And there it is!

Mrs Wilson has always been a supporter of pretty much everyone. Respect to her.

Your thoughts?

Sadly, Cici was correct, Christina Aguilera’s performance was …..Okay. She was off key and not hitting the notes that were expected. She was hoarse and sadly she has Sang “run to you” to whitney before and it was better than this……Vocal Decline.

Glennis Grace should have been the one to perform the Whitney medley, but this music industry generation do not want real vocalists anymore, the Black ones that is.

Ciara doesn’t need to put out a fake statement due to backlash from fans, who if we’re being honest, are not that many. If they were, Christina would be on the charts. She sounded horrible and her face looked like she had just gotten a fresh reup of botox. Horrible horrible tribute.

I love Ciara as a performer but she CANNOT sing. I personally think that no one should be doing Whitney Houston. Christina did horrible.

Props to Xtina…but I wish they would have went with Deborah C** for this tribute of the 25th anniversary of Bodyguard. Her vocals are still stellar and shes playing Whitney’s role on Broadway. Just makes more sense to me.

You’re making too much since here. Yes they should have called Deborah or at least have multiple singers do the tribute including some BLACK singers.
