Jessie J is back!
After a stint away from the spotlight, the popular powerhouse is prepping new album ‘R.O.S.E’ for release next year.
An acronym for ‘Realisations Obsessions Sex Empowerment,’ the LP promises to peel away the plasticity that defined some of the singer’s prior releases; instead, with the set, she invites the masses to a musical meal that is rawer and rooted in the real.
Doing away with the traditional roll-out, she’s been introducing the record by way of taster songs and a live tour that took her across the globe.
Now, as she unleashes the project’s official lead single ‘Queen,’ That Grape Juice shares our candid interview with the star.
During the chat, she divulges more on the album as well as the journey up to this point. She opens up in earnest about feeling pressure to dilute her vocals and emphatically explains why she won’t be doing that this go round.

She basically is saying she won’t dumb down her voice, like she has done in the passed. That’s what Leona Lewis did with “Glassheart” that don’t mean anything to anyone here in the states because no one buys her music unless she calls on collaborations and get radio play deals like she did with “Bang bang”
