Miguel Reveals ‘War & Leisure’ Album Cover

Published: Thursday 2nd Nov 2017 by Sam

Miguel is marching on with the roll-out of new album ‘War & Leisure.’

The set is due to hit stores later this year and, having whet appetites with lead single ‘Sky Walker,’ the singer has unveiled the project’s official cover. Check it out above.

Last month the 32-host hosted an intimate listening session for the record in London, which That Grape Juice attended. And while we can’t say too much just yet, it’s definitely shaping up to be his strongest body of work yet.

Hold tight for details, but pending then peep the video for ‘Sky Walker’ below…

so…………. is the “White” Miguel that opened for SIA playing “white versions” of his songs? or the “Prince” wannabe? Or the Pop “Miguel” that played with Mariah…..

Idc if it’s Pop, R&B or Heavy Metal…. if Miguel is singing it, I’m buying it. His ear for melodies, his vocals and his lyrics are always on point. People like to shade his last album Wildheart but forget it still gifted us “Coffee” & “Simplethings” –two of the better R&B songs of the last 5 years.

And those were the only two songs it gifted. I listened because he’s talented but the rest of the music on that album was all over the place.

He had some bomb tracks on that album. “Hollywood Dreams” “Waves” “DEAL” What’s Normal Anyway”…People just wasn’t in the right mind set at the moment because there was too much going on in the industry to absorb the art.

I whole-heartedly agree. Wildheart was probably too high concept for the “Trap&B” sect but let’s not act like there weren’t gems sprinkled throughout. “Waves”, “What’s Normal Anyway”, “Face The Sun” & “Leaves” are all sublime.

I guess I might have to listen again.

If it’s better than Kaleidescope Dream and his first album then yeah it’ll be good. Wildheart was decent.
