The supernatural horror film tells the tale of a group of girls who seek the power of witchcraft for their own personal gain but soon find themselves forced to face the forces of evil when things don’t go to plan.

How it fared? Brilliantly, picking up $55 million on the back of a $15 million budget.

Ready to take the journey to the past?

Watch below…

A cult classic, the movie didn’t rock the box office when it impacted theatres but rose via positive word-of-mouth reviews and a Pop Rock soundtrack which featured songs performed by Marianne Faithfull, Paul McCartney, John Lennon and Morrissey.

This movie is awesome. I saw it first out of my group of friends who were like ‘Yeah whatever’. They saw it shortly after and all came into school the next day like ‘OMG we #The Craft, it was f**king amazing!’. Such an influential movie, with realistic teenagers unlike those awful Twilight films.

I love this movie so much and it meant so much to me growing up as a kid with a love of the supernatural and witchcraft. This is a movie I’d be open to seeing a remake of, especially now with the technological advances and just to see how a coven of young witches would be in today’s crazy times.
