Watch: Fergie Performs ‘Save It Till Morning’ On ‘The X Factor’

Fergie is aiming to activate new album ‘Double Dutchess’ on a global scale.

Released in September, the visual LP arrived after an elongated spell out of the spotlight for the Black Eyed Peas performer.

With the project now in the media arena, the singer seems keen to work the promo trail. Case in point her showing on The X Factor UK.

There, the singer delivered a rendition of ‘Save It Till Morning.’

Check it out below…

Decent.

We hope this single catches on somewhere, because it easily serves as the album’s most commercially workable offering. It’s undeniably carved in the image of ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ – which is exactly why.

That said, and not to be pessimistic (but more a realist), it’s fast becoming apparent that this “all at once” roll-out doesn’t benefit everyone. Indeed, in Fergie’s case, rather than pushing such a weighty project up a hill, she’d have been better off channelling all her efforts into making this a hit.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda’s.

Personally I felt this was a weak performance. Her voice is not strong or special enough to handle a ballad- it’s whiny and pitchy. It would have been better if she done ‘You Already Know’ and ‘Enchanted’ mash up. Gertie is known for high energy and being cheeky and urban centric. She could have gotten a UK female rapper to do Nicki Minaj verse. I.e – Stefflon Don, Nadia rose, Ms Banks.

Her best song on the album and absolutely the direction she should’ve started with from the very beginning of this project. I’ve sung along with this song countless times driving to and from work. This was a nice performance. I also love her ballad from Poseidon.

Love the long waited new album!! I love the mix of pop/rock/hip hop/rap. Can’t wait to see u on tour again. I think she made the Black Eyed Peas popular. Her voice is strong especially when she can sing Ann Wilson’s song Barracuda, also a big fan of that group. This album is more emotional w the break up of her marriage which I hope becomes successful because of it. Good to see and hear u again Fergie Ferg!!!!
