New Video: Jason Derulo – ‘Tip Toe (ft. French Montana)’

Published: Thursday 7th Dec 2017 by Sam

Jason Derulo journeys to the jungle in the video for ‘Tip Toe.’

The French Montana assisted jam is the latest offering from the singer’s upcoming ‘777’ album.

Much like predecessors ‘Swalla’ and ‘If I’m Lucky,’ the clip sees Derulo aim to stake his claim as a high-octane visual vendor.

Indeed, the vid is slick, glossy, and crammed full of choreography.

What are you waiting for? Watch below…

Not as taken by the song, but the commitment to performance in the video is difficult to deny.

It begs the question: do you feel Jason Derulo is underrated when it comes to the conversation of today’s male performers?

Your thoughts?

    he’s corny as hell.

and while we’re here, are we going to talk about the cultural appropriation in that video? or does it not apply if it’s asian cultures? i’ll wait.

    • MCTB December 7, 2017

it doesn’t apply because he’s black. he’s the victim remember

    A) this song is TRASH

    B) Why is it ok for him to use cultural appropriation (the Japanese Geisha scene and the tribal scene) and white h*** get wrecked and criticised when they do something like this….and actually do in a more flattering way? A la Gwen Stefani.

    C) this song is going NOWHERE

Im in no way defending this clown. But black people have had their cultures and ancestral history stolen from them, how can anyone ask how black can appropiate other cultures while ignoring the history. Dumb

I get what you’re trying to say, but in no way does that invalidates what Ariel said.

Btw, what’s with all the naked/twerking women everywhere in ALL his videos? We know you’re gay. Just come out already. Jesus

  7. just sayin December 7, 2017

umm… it is indeed possible for a black person to engage in cultural appropriation; this video is an example of how one can do it. he doesn’t get a pass.
