‘Wake’ can be expected to sail above and beyond the 2 million streams barrier by the end of this week and support the rapper’s forthcoming album ‘7 Winters and 6 Summers‘ which will hit retailers in 2018.
With all of the above in mind, ‘Wake’s failure to fly on a pure sales front doesn’t indicate that the general public isn’t interested in her for her streaming gains prove that we all are.
However, with all the hype and backing she’s received since her homecoming in 2014, commercial expectations for ‘7 Winters’ should be high as she’s now had over three years to lay the foundations for its arrival.
