Stream: Camila Cabello – ‘Camila’

Published: Thursday 11th Jan 2018 by Rashad

It’s finally here!

After a slow start to her solo career with ‘Crying in the Club,’ former Fifth Harmony hitmaker Camila Cabello found her solitary footing on the Hot 100 with the breakout hit, ‘Havana.’  Only heightening anticipation for its parent project, originally titled ‘The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving.,’ the tune’s remained in the top 5 on the tally some months after its release.

Now that its follow-up, ‘Never Be the Same,’ is making moves up the singles charts, we’re sure the singer is undoubtedly hoping their parent album – now self-titled – will have their staying power.

Princess of pop? That’s taking it a lil too far cause Ariana is princess

Nice album tho wish OMG wasn’t on there aha but all in all it’s good. She got a nice tone to her voice to reminds me of Rihanna when she first started.

Stepchild Of Poop is what you meant.

You all probably the one that rooting for her to fail and made assumption that she will fail without 5H. She doesn’t have to be anyone cup of tea, and to each their own. She already more successful than 5H will ever be. The album is currently breaking record with #1 in over 90 countries and counting. #TeamCamila

All these years and real friends are my favourite

Wow. I was really pulling for her, but this album went nowhere. I have not listened to an album and felt nothing in a long time. A great chance waisted. Sad.

    Boring

  7. SMH January 12, 2018

Normani ‘s and Lauren’s solo debuts will be lit tho.

    • Francis January 12, 2018

You’re right! Lauren’s voice is extremely versatile and I think she would kill it in Halsey’s lane or Lana Del Rey’s. I got my eyes on Normani too, she’s the complete package, with the right material she could be big.

  10. Totally January 12, 2018

I gave it a fair chance and it’s not good. A really boring album.

  11. Barbara ‘Hunnychile’ Perez January 12, 2018

Too many ballads. Made me depressed. BloodPop® and Hailee’s Capital Letters is a TUNE though.

  12. XYZ January 12, 2018

It‘s actually really boring. Haven’t expected such a boring album

  13. Good ears January 12, 2018

    Boring

  14. XYZ January 14, 2018

It’s a no for me. Most songs are forgettable. Ariana Grande is probably the only one who can produce a solid album in her peer group. Waiting to see what Normani puts out. She could be the real deal
