Bruno Mars Reacts To Super Bowl Halftime Show

Published: Monday 5th Feb 2018 by Sam

Bruno Mars has rocked the Super Bowl Halftime Show twice – and on both occasions has been hailed as delivering some of the platform’s most memorable moments.

Unfortunately for fellow performer Justin Timberlake, his showing last night isn’t receiving much love from the masses. Indeed, it’s being panned left, right, and centre.

With the world weighing-in on this Halftime and what’s should come next, Mars is throwing in his two cents.

See what he had to say below…

Do you agree with Bruno?

If in the ATL next year Usher should do it. He could bring out LaFace records(Outkast, TLC, PINK, Toni Braxton and Ciara)

  2. yyeas mam February 5, 2018

    Hell no!
Dont put no mumbling dudes on stage with 50 entourages standing around saggy pants! naw! Have our queens with their asses out twerking! Hell Naw, pass!

    • Cap February 5, 2018

      lol. Agree!

  3. Danny Bey February 5, 2018

In all honesty, Usher should do it if thats the case. And then he can bring on some notable ATL rappers like Luda & Lil Jon. Thatd be perfect.

Ciara could even make a small appearance in some fashion. Maybe they do a dance off of some sort.

    • whut February 5, 2018

Absolutely. Usher would be the ONLY logical choice if this is true.

    • Bravo!! February 5, 2018

      I’ll agree..

I like how he didn’t give two fks abt justina and her floppy hanz

This is definitely a great idea but the Execution is looking down hill already. I can definitely see Ciara, Usher, Luda and Lil Jon having the biggest halftime show since Beyoncé 2013/Bruno Mars 2014. It could also cap off Ciara’s new era from this year and set up Usher new album for 4Q/1Q 2019. I feel this is a good group who can put on a Super Bowl show, they’re about their business and about their showmanship. If you add the new school like Gucci Man, Migos, Soulja Boi or Future, you’re setting yourself to fail. They’ll without a doubt trash out the SB, give lackluster performances where they walk around or bring 10 different people with them that do nothing. Remember how they turned the BET awards into a crap game at the family cookout? We’ll end up with another Janet titty situation.

I concur, Usher should headline the ATL Super Bowl.
Plus, Dupri, Diddy; Lil Jon and others are part of his crew.
It should be Usher or Outkast. But since NFL are a bunch of c****, who knows, maybe they are planning their sweetie Taylor…
Also, Bruno Mars didn’t say which kind of fun he had. Maybe it was fun to laugh about Justin ?

Lmao he just bypassed commenting on Justin’s performance lol. But besides his performance, the game was good too though lol! Philly deserved it.

And yes! This could be great for hip hop if ATL is really in the talks! I’m loving the ideas in the comment section so far!!! Super Bowl 53!!! Come through!

    Keep it!

  9. Rolls eyes February 5, 2018

    • tyana February 5, 2018

      BRIS BREEZY!!!!!!!!!

      • Deyzz February 5, 2018

Love you to pieces, Bruno, but we need to give other artists a chance.

      • Deyzz February 5, 2018

        Chris over Usher any day!!

  10. DukeofDivas February 5, 2018

Add Monica, Xscape, TLC, Ciara, Usher and ATL stand up!

  11. stan February 5, 2018

ain’t a word about justin, i see. *sips tea*

  12. Paulo February 5, 2018

so he ignored Justin kiiii I’m not even a fan but gotta give it to Bruno… he bumped Abel out of the critics’ radar and is now blocking JT’s comeback he’s on track to dominate the male Pop scene

  13. Stephy February 5, 2018

Usher should definitely do it next year, he honestly, should’ve done it in 2005, coming off the massive success of Confessions

    • Bam February 5, 2018

Ageed but they were scared cause of ‘04. I honestly think they’re gonna try to win back their conservative crowd by choosing someone country or Taylor Swift.

  14. Xtina4life February 5, 2018

Jt dont give 2 fuks about what Bruno has 2 say. Jt got his second top 10 from new album.

    • Saintimonious February 6, 2018

You have it wrong. Bruno just won 6 Grammy’s including all the big awards so clearly he ain’t checking for Justin. Also, he’s currently on a massive tour right now and had a very successful album.

  15. IG : mixedboy February 5, 2018

    ??

  16. Kennedy February 6, 2018

I just love everything about him ?

  17. MUSICHEAD February 6, 2018

    Usher hands down

  18. Ocean February 6, 2018

it wouldn’t work. It’s still needs to be a family show … which is why it’s been so pop influenced … Hip Hop just wouldn’t work with all the profanity. Adults be actin like it’s juat them that watch the half time show

  19. Chizoma Ihebuzor February 6, 2018

Lmao @ people chalking up Bruno not acknowledging JT’s performance as shade! Well, if the SB is gonna be in ATL next year, USHER is the perfect choice to headline. He has certified classics that’ll work well in a stadium. The only issues at hand are how relevant he is and his sometimes inconsistent performance ability (the man will be 40 this year, I get it). To lift some of the load off him, he could bring out Ciara, Luda, Lil Jon and maybe even Outcast. I swear, it’ll be like middle school all over again and I think people would enjoy the throwback element of it.

  20. Casual February 6, 2018

Cosign: I think it will be Usher too, with some outstanding appearances by other Atlanta artists.

And of course, Atlanta LEGEND Gladys Knight might make an appearance too.

  21. Coco February 6, 2018

The level of ⛱⛱???in the me and the band had fun watching the halftime show. It was quite apparent jt was going for a me and my band vibe. Which Bruno does and really is.

  22. DanYiel Iman February 7, 2018

I’ll keep silent on Justin lil performance!!

  23. JC February 12, 2018

Bruno Mars is a fraud that rips off older people’s hits. He constantly goes back to 70s Funk/80s Rock/90s Pop/R&B and does just enough ripping off and mashing up so that it can’t be called copyright infringement. Anyone who listens to a wide variety of music from various decades knows that Bruno lacks originality. Only thing he’s good at is knowing exactly how much he can steal without risking a lawsuit. I don’t care how many people like him, all I see and hear is a fraud. I can’t wait until someone calls him out on his bullsh*t.
