Fifth Harmony’s Normani Signs Major Solo Publishing Deal

Published: Friday 2nd Feb 2018 by Sam

Normani Kordei is making major moves.

The Fifth Harmony member has seen buzz about her solo debut crank into overdrive in recent months, thanks to a number exciting power plays.

First, she signed a management deal with a branch of Roc Nation (S10), hit the studio with Stargate, and has now inked a significant publishing partnership.

Details below…

It’s been revealed that the 21-year-old has signed as a songwriter with Stellar Songs / Sony ATV – which is the publishing home of heavy-hitters such as Sam Smith.

Yes, yes, and yes! We love us some 5H and remain excited about their prospect long-term. Yet, at the same, we’ve always been amped about Normani’s solo potential. And, by the looks of it, all the components her that machine are being put in place.

At this juncture, all that’s left to hear is which label she’s signed to.

Exciting times!

Normani co-wrote a few of my favorite songs off of Fifth Harmony’s new album.

Make You Mad, Lonely Night and Messy.
Normani has an interesting and beautiful voice that I’m so excited to hear more and more of.

Khalid and Normani Kordei will release their new song together titled “Love Lies” on Friday, March 16 as part of the ‘Love, Simon’ soundtrack.

I want Normani to succeed, we need more women of color succeeding in music but being signed to a division of RocNation will not benefit her. RocNation has only maintained one successful female act and that’s Rihanna (the other females on the Roc roster left, filed lawsuits or we never see them). RocNation barely let Rihanna succeed (too many album leaks and they are not fighting for her to win awards and where’s the Roc’s great press push on Rih’s speech on education at the financial conference in Africa that took place yesterday).

Jay, who supposedly owns RocNation, is married to Beyonce. We all know Bey hates competition. Just go back and look at the photo of Normani and Bey at this year’s RocNation Grammy Brunch. You could see in Bey’s eyes and that jester smile that she was thinking “Ok music industry, y’all think y’all going to make Normani my competition or take my place, it ain’t going to happen. I don’t share the spotlight with no one and will do everything to block Normani’s shine. She’s in for a rude awakening just like all the rest”. Normani looked scared in that photo. Get ready for Normani’s career to be filled with album leaks ahead of schedule on Tidal or be pushed back to infinity, she’ll be plagued with colorism issues, tons of technical issues with her performances, Bey will release an album or rare pic/interview on the same day as Normani’s projects, and look forward for her to be nominated for tons of awards but receive none, last but not least she may get an illness or injury that derails her singing career. It has happened to way too many of our contemporary black r&b/pop female singers. Good luck Normani!!!!

you sound absolutely nuts. Lol you should really make money off your gift if you can ready peoples thoughts and intentions through pictures online. I’ve never heard of that before.
