And its a trend the 30-year-old looks set to continue. Because she’s teaming up with rising alt-R&B star H.E.R.

Much like SZA‘s enlisting by Bey and Rih, this is a refreshing move.
In times of past, the politics of the Pop sphere saw established acts play blind to artists on the come-up. Now, it’s essentially advantageous to pair up.
Indeed, on the one hand, the Rih’s and co benefit from the hype attached to new names and on the other H.E.R and the new girls get a rub from the “endorsement” of established mega-stars. It’s a win-win.
