The Weeknd Announces New Album ‘My Dear Melancholy’…Drops Tonight

Published: Thursday 29th Mar 2018 by Sam

The Weeknd looks to celebrate the weekend in a major way. Because the Pop crooner has announced his brand new album ‘My Dear Melancholy’ – and it’s arriving sooner than you might’ve thought.

Details below…

News of the LP leaked a little early due to the pop up of billboards touting its release and his website going live with iTunes and Spotify links (which have since been removed).

Quickly getting onto the matter, the singer – real name Abel Tesfaye – took to Instagram  moments ago to share the cover above with the caption “tonight.”

The hotly anticipated project serves as the follow-up to 2016’s Platinum certified ‘Starboy.’

There’s some murmuring about ‘Melancholy’ possibly being an EP that forms part of an elaborate album roll-out – with some pointing to the comma in the title as signifying “more.”

Whether than plays out as such remains to be seen.

What is a cert though is that a new Weeknd project is set to land in a mere matter of hours.

Buzzed?!
