Tinashe Reveals ‘Joyride’ Album Cover & Release Date

Published: Friday 16th Mar 2018 by Sam

It’s finally time for Tinashe.

After years of delays, the singer will at long last release her sophomore album ‘Joyride’ next month.

Details below…

Taking to social media, the 24-year-old announced that the LP will arrive at retail on April 13th.

She also revealed the set’s edgy cover. Check it out above.

‘Joyride’ is preceded by singles ‘No Drama’ featuring Offset and ‘Faded Love’ featuring Future. A third track, ‘Me So Bad,’ is expected to drop imminently.

With its predecessors creating buzz, will the cut (rumoured to feature Ty Dolla $ign and French Montana) be “the” song to finally chart?

Your thoughts?

If you knew T’s music you would understand the cover. It’s cohesive with her sound in every way. But I wouldn’t expect you to understand.

      • Ariel March 16, 2018

        Yeah, sure Jan.

Wtf this have to do with her music? Explain

      • Teflon Boy March 17, 2018

Here here.., with the exception of the label pushed pop single misfires, her album and mixtape music has been edgy, left field and interesting. This cover assures me that #JoyRide will be in keeping with that and not be going down the pop fluff route aka Flame.

    I am here for it!
I am not a bias Tinashe fan I’ll always tell the truth to let my fave know.

The album cover art wise is ASTONISHING and pays homage to her mixtape days where she presented us dark misty mysteries about herself.

No Drama is my shyt and she slays the choreography….although that Auntie wig in the video has GOT 2 GO!!! But i’ll def give the album a listen.

TROLL ALERT ? DO NOT ENGAGE.

Agreed… she’s a good lyricist but she lacks star appeal as a lead singer. Best off cashing cheques as a songwriter….

Tinashe apologize to the blacks you offended. …your album flopped…but Rihanna sells…..

  8. Jasmine March 16, 2018

The album title does not go with the album cover or parental advise sticker. She should have changed the title

  9. eric March 16, 2018

Not a fan, but that’s a real cool cover photo.

She needs a new label. All the singles are great after a few listens! I’m addicted to both but the label isn’t pushing. RCA never pushes their urban acts!

    • XYZ March 17, 2018

Actually her label doesn’t seem so bad. I mean, they still support her after all those singles flopping hard. It’s not like they haven’t put money in her. Her videos weren’t low budget and she had good features and many singles. I guess people just aren’t into her. Like, me for example, I simply don’t care for her. She has some songs I bump to, but I am neither excited for her new stuff nor would I go to a concert. Can’t even tell you why, she just has no appeal

      • Meme March 17, 2018

Exactly. It really isn’t her label. They give her endless budgets. Finding videos for all these tracks. They did 2 videos for No Drama and it still flopped. They put her on a song with Britney Spears and Nick Jonas and gets her big gigs for someone pretty much irrelevant.

Ppl just ain’t supporting, simple. It’s not always the label. They’ve tried urban, and pop. They really tried everything.

SHE NEEDS TO PUSH IT BACK. NO HIT SINGLES YET. SHE FLOPPED WHEN SHE WAS ARMED WITH A HIT LAST TIME. SHE ANNOUNCED THE TITLE YEARS AGO. WHY DID SHE KEEP IT? DO NOT ANNOUNCE THE TITLE BEFORE THE COMPLETION AND A SOLID RELEASE DATE.

Who you tho? Some kind of A&R?

        Death. Lolol

      • SdotB March 17, 2018

He/She is someone with common sense and not a delusional fan who can’t stand when someone is telling them truth about their flopping fave.

I love the image.., it really goes with what I have come to associate with her music and overall approach. If I’m keeping it ? though then I think her name should be bigger on the cover and I also don’t think the title font works for the overall cover. It looks cheap compared to the central image.
