Per the company, these are the variables factored in to the nominations:

Billboard Music Awards finalists are based on key fan interactions with music, including album and digital songs sales, radio airplay, streaming, touring and social interactions on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify and other popular online destinations for music. These measurements are tracked year-round by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound. The awards are based on the reporting period of tracking dates March 2017 through March 2018 and Billboard chart dates April 2018 through April 2018.

Tell me why Beyonce is nominated as a Top Artist and she don’t even have an album out or even new music and her tour hasn’t even begun? This is just more proof you can buy your noms and awards!

    • Guest April 17, 2018

Learn how to read. Beyoncé is not nominated for top artist. She’s nominated for r&b female with Rihanna who doesnt have an album out either??

    • Darius C April 17, 2018

      Exactly very sad

    • Stella April 17, 2018

Even if she was dumbass , she had a #1 a #3 and a #14 or something 😉 in the past year

  2. Guest April 17, 2018

Why Is Despacito still be nominated for stuff. Beyonce and Rihanna have tons of awards. (Congrats to them tho of course) But I want Demi to win something. Her album was good and she got no acknowledgement for it.

  3. Datredd23 April 17, 2018

Cardi B Bests Beyonce for the Most Simultaneous Hot 100 Hits Among Women

    4/16/2018 by Gary Trust

As Cardi B’s “Invasion of Privacy” launches atop the Billboard 200, the rapper boasts 13 songs on the Hot 100.

As Cardi B’s debut full-length Invasion of Privacy blasts in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (dated April 21), the rapper makes history on the Billboard Hot 100. On the latter list, she charts 13 entries, passing Beyoncé for the most simultaneous titles on the ranking by a solo female.

Beyoncé boasted 12 tracks on the Hot 100 dated May 14, 2016, the week that her album Lemonade launched at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (with all the set’s songs on the Hot 100 that week).

    • Jasmine Da Bi Asian NOT Trashmine or TROLLmine??‍♀️??‍♀️ April 17, 2018

That’s a trash record to break, you can literally chart with your whole album now because of the poor industry state. Ur bragging about that? Lol that’s not an accolade honey, that’s tragedy

    • Hmmm… April 17, 2018

Girl nobody told you the charts died years ago. You don’t even have to sell to chart. I didn’t like Ariana’s album that much but I will never forget when she was selling more than Drake’s views but he was at number 1 and she was at number 2. It’s an absolute joke. Beyoncé’s singles weren’t charting because of streaming, they were being purchased 1.29 individually. Same thing goes for certifications. Issa joke. The only thing honest is pure sales.

    • Darius C April 17, 2018

Thank u grape juice are silent haters

    • Stella April 17, 2018

Lmao, Welp considering the whole album is on youtube for free….

  8. Parker April 17, 2018

I love Rihanna she is the queen I’m sitting here wondering like why is Rihanna and Beyonce nominated they haven’t put out anything and then I realized they are the two top females in the game so it would only make sense even if they only put out a single or 2 for them to be nominated and I’m so happy for cardi B I hope she win every award

    • Bam April 17, 2018

It’s sad that they are nominated with little to nothing out it shows the state of female r&b.
