Kanye West‘s outspokenness is as trademark as his musical genius. But his latest stream of thought on social media seems to have irked a lot of his liberal leaning fanbase.
Moments ago on Twitter, Ye billed US President Donald Trump as his “brother” and proceeded to critique those who slam him for such sentiments for not having their own mindset and following the pack.
His words below…
Political affiliations are neither here nor there. But media training is. Ultimately, Kanye is in a predicament where he “needs” the support of the masses. Or, at the very least, needs to re-engage those who once rode hard for him way back when.
And yet he’s keeps professing his “love” for a “brother” who much of his fanbase find to be a divisive figure. It just doesn’t compute. Well, in hindsight it does given that Ye proudly revealed today that he doesn’t have a manager because he “can’t be managed.”
For someone who many view to be stuck in the “sunken place,” he’s certainly not helping matters. So much so that even if his upcoming material is “good,” will there even be an audience willing to receive it upon its arrival?
