MAC Sets June Release Date For Aaliyah Collection

As Rihanna’s ‘Fenty Beauty’ makes major moves for the French multinational cosmetics giant LVMH, MAC Cosmetics seeks to commodify Aaliyah’s looks and styles by releasing a collection inspired by her.

Good news for the late but eternally great vocalist below…

Fuelled by their admiration of her style, MAC will unlock the Aaliyah collection on June 20th and support it with a promotional campaign designed to honour her creativity and impact on Pop culture.

    Yes won’t God do it, now they need to put her One in a million album and self titled back on ITunes and idc but do a unreleased album with Noah 40 Shebib production without Drake (no hate to him, just unneeded). Can’t lie Enough Said was good

    I have no intention of wearing the makeup, but I will buy it just because of the Aaliyah brand. I’ll get one set to keep for years and years even after it has dried up, and I’ll get another set to give as a gift. I can’t wait to see the packaging. I have to have the store displays and everything in my collection. Aaliyah is just that cool.
