In the last week alone the Grammy nominee has dropped the music video for her official second single (as a leading artist), ‘Bartier Cardi’ (click here to watch) and its follow-up, ‘Be Careful’ (click here to listen), now she’s called on Migos (featuring her fiance Offset) to assist in the new tune, ‘Drip.’

There is a lot of hype around her album but I feel that just like the Culture II album, it won’t live up to the hype. BY, Bartier Cardi and this song have no substance at all. Lackluster vid for bartier Cardi, be careful being trash in general and not to mention she doesn’t write her best bars. I’ll give her some streams but I’m not buying her album.

Cardi had that “female rapper label” after she performed at Summer Jam. But now I agree with you, Cardi is coming across as a karoke entertainer. She’s just known as Offset’s girlfriend. BUT, Cardi admitted early on that she only wanted to make money and that she was not about no “rap shyt.” She only did rap because rap paid and now it shows.

Another L for Cardi. This my friend is why No One is coming for Nickis throne. I am afraid Cardi is goin to be a 1 trick pony. She just doesn’t sound good on anything else other than Bodak Yellow. Nicki on the other hand sounds good on everything.

I’ve liked all her tracks from this album so far , & I think they’re all commercial enough to sell to the masses , that’s the point of her music it seems .
It’ll be interesting to see how much her album sells,or should I say streams lol.
What is Cardi’s label and management doing? It’s clear that the album isn’t ready, no track listing, no pre-sales. Dang, her alleged pregnancy aint that serious to be throwing out crap. I actually like Be Careful, but the sudden stop at the end makes it sound unfinished. She could’ve at least played 30 seconds worth of music. And this Drip song is terrible. BUT, Nicki’s first album played out the same way. People thought Nicki’s features were better than her singles: Check It Out, Right Thru Me, Massive Attack and then she dropped Roman’s Revenge and got that street credit back. Roman didn’t do well on the charts though. Then Taylor Swift put NEW light under Pink Friday by shouting out Super Bass. Let’s see if Cardi have such luck.
Karaoke Cardi strikes again, SMH. First and foremost, I like Cardi as a person not as a rapper. She made some catchy song and being push vigorously by Atlantic. The Migo’s made the song and the beat is sick AF. Missy Ellio, Azealia Banks and Nicki would of bodied this beat. Love u Cardi but rS not your forte and I want u to prove me wrong.
