New Song & Video: Ariana Grande – ‘No Tears Left To Cry’

Published: Thursday 19th Apr 2018 by Rashad

She’s back!

Nearly two years after introducing her faithful fans (affectionately called #Arianators) to the gems found aboard her tertiary album, ‘Dangerous Woman’ (see:  ‘Into You,’ ‘Side to Side’ featuring Nicki Minaj, and many more), Ariana Grande‘s returned with the copiously teased tune, ‘No Tears Left to Cry.’

The high octane cut not only show Grande flexing those oft-envied vocals, but also sees her continue her scrumptious synthesis of pop & Urban sounds that have lined her past offerings.

A shoo-in for top 10 status once radio gets it hands on this ear candy, is her latest run at chart success just what she needs to get her hands on that ever elusive Hot 100 #1?  Listen inside and let us know:

I like the video and look. I wish she Enunciate more when she sings! I never know what she is saying! The song doesn’t do anything for me but I’m sure there will be something on her album I like so I’m not discouraged

I agree she doesn’t pronounce her words well. The verses of this song is very mumble.

    • Jasmine April 20, 2018

I dont like it. Why doesnt she record better 1st singles for her albums? Also, lose the pony tail.

    • Fancy BISH April 20, 2018

Ariana sings like she just finished eating a pack of Skittles ?

  2. Justme April 19, 2018

    It’s a grower

Horrible song, horrible video. David Meyers really need to stop using these same concepts in all his videos. This looks too much like Kendrick and Rihanna’s Loyalty. It also has nothing to do with the song.

This song is all over the place with no structure. It will not catch on.

    • Sweetnothings78 April 19, 2018

I wouldn’t bank on it not doing well. She has a fiercely strong audience and the song is radio friendly.
Remember she’s a breath of fresh air and likeable. Too much rap we’re having to endure so she drops at the right time.

Will you eat your words when she’s no1?

Ariana’s songs do well (for her audience) but they NEVER have impact. She does have a pretty loyal fan base that loves her, but outside of them, her music has not caught on, including her music in the past. The song is .69 cents and right now, Anybody can top the charts with the most mediocre sales + streams. So I have no doubt it’ll get a good debut. But that doesn’t really matter. So If by doing well you mean that Ariana will continue to be a simple pop star who gets compared to Selena Gomez and wins AMA’s at most… then… I guess. Slay on sis.

    • Sweetnothings78 April 20, 2018

So I was right then… no 1 on iTunes… never underestimate the power of a solo woman with that impact 😉

      • Jasmine April 20, 2018

No 1 on itunes is meaningless. It’s a brand new song from a major current pop artist at a discounted price less than a dollar. It will automatically be no 1 on itunes because of the aforementioned. The problem here is that the song should be better. She has enough resources to get better songs so I don’t see the point in her releasing this song, spending money on its video, and discounting the price instead of just recording better tracks.

lmao then how come none of roach’s song ever go to #1 on itunes? lmfaooooo

    LOVE HER LOVE THIS.
    That voice is so beautiful

  5. LostOne April 19, 2018

I have no idea wtf she’s saying. All the vocals sounds nice on the hook the bridge and verses r poor. The song doesn’t go anywhere. Issa No for me but the video visuals was cute.

  6. Steve April 19, 2018

The song is okay. But i expected more than this

  7. Hmmm… April 19, 2018

I hate the song. It just sounds so.. amateur. The chorus is generic and kind of annoying because of the way she says her words, the beat is childish, like whoever wrote it has never written a song before. And is no one correcting her enunciation of her words when she’s sings? It’s gotten worse?

  8. Lanafan1 April 19, 2018

    Trash!

  9. I Can’t April 19, 2018

It’s a no from me. I am so sick of that ponytail. Her fans think it’s “iconic” ?. That’s funny. Anyways, the songs is only $0.69 on iTunes. It’ll hit number 1 and then fall back down by Saturday.

  10. RihNaj April 20, 2018

It’s a bop, cute hope next single delivers more tho!

Jessie j should learn from ari, she dosnt over sing her songs even tho she is a vocal power house she keeps it neat Jessie on the other hand uses too many runs etc she need to make it more genuine I guess. Routing for both of em ?

    • Dev April 20, 2018

Jessie J doesn’t need to learn anything from her as they are two different vocalists and jessie j has proved that she could sing her underneath the table and chair just from her performances on the chinese TV show.
As for this song, when i heard that people were in tears when they heard it i thought it would be great but it actually doesn’t do anything or go anywhere apart from the courts which becomes too repetitious as thats all thats noticeable.

  11. Ajm265 April 20, 2018

Very creative video. Songs pretty cool most music sucks so surprised I was able to get through all of it.

  12. AnonymousTruth April 20, 2018

Wow I love love love the video.
The song tho….. no comment .

  13. Binx April 20, 2018

I have to say im disappointed. I cant understand a word the girl is saying and the song doesn’t really go anywhere.

  14. Seth April 20, 2018

Into You was her best single to date and would have been a smash had Drake not dominated that summer. This song is lukewarm at best

  15. eric April 20, 2018

    I don’t know. Sounds like 3 songs in 1.
