The fiery femcee teams with A Boogie for next single ‘Company.’
Serviced as the latest release from her eagerly awaited sophomore album ‘Seven Winters & Six Summers,’ the track arrived together with its accompanying video moments ago.
Speaking on the jam, Remy told fans:
“I wanted to do a record that was fun and different for me so I went home to the Bronx and linked up with my homie A Boogie to give you #Company!”

While this does pack potential for Urban radio, we’re not entirely convinced it’s what Remy “needs” at this juncture.
Here at TGJ, we’re not about conjecture – we stack facts on facts. And the fact of the matter is that none of Remy’s last singles have done much of anything.
So, while we commend her for trying something different, we’d have much preferred she came out of the gate swinging with undeniable fire (see: ‘Conceited,’ ‘All The Way Up’). Even if that meant going back to the drawing board and taking her time with it.
Because, she’s now in a predicament where the ‘Shether’ hype has carried her as far it could and the collective question is: “what’s next sis?”
Whether ‘Company’ proves to be the match that lights her chart fire remains to be seen. For her sake though, it almost needs to be.

I get it. Remy is trying to soften her image but to me it seems forced. She doesn’t look comfortable and I don’t see her as what she’s trying to portray, which is a s** symbol, flirty n fun chick.
