The Final Numbers Are In! Cardi B’s ‘Invasion Of Privacy’ Makes History

Published: Friday 13th Apr 2018 by Sam

Cardi B’s debut album ‘Invasion Of Privacy’ undeniably serves as one of the year’s most eagerly waited arrivals.

Ushered in by smash hit ‘Bodak Yellow,’ the LP’s release represented more than an “album debut.” For many, it was the christening of a queen.

Cardi, real name Belcalis Almanzar, has seen her unparalleled momentum powered by on her own jams as well as smash collaborations including ‘Finesse’ with Bruno Mars and ‘No Limit’ with G-Eazy.

Paired with her potent penetration of social media, it’s made for the perfect swirl of anticipation heading into the project’s release window.

Early forecasts were commendable, and were then revised up to be even more impressive.

Now the final tally has been counted. So, where did Cardi land? Find out below…

According to Hits Daily Double, Cardi numbers are:

254,228
[Sales Plus Streaming]
……..
105,130
[Pure Sales]

**********

The figures will see Cardi easily secure the #1 spot on this week’s Billboard 200.

What’s more, ‘Privacy’ now earns the honor of having largest first-week streams for any debut album yet. The set also boasts the most first-week streams (and most single-week streams) ever by a female artist.

Furthermore, by shattering the 100k mark in retail sales (despite only being available digitally), she more than doubles the 40k glass-ceiling that countless Rap releases have failed to power past in recent times.

With three videos shot and an in-store arrival of ‘Privacy’ still to come, the pregnant femcee looks set for more success in the weeks and months to come.

Congratulations!

Wow..biase much?!?!? When it comes to Riri “Anti”, this site is so quick to shot it down but when it’s Cardi “Hail the almighty”. First and foremost congrats to Cardi, I love the album and it’s on repeat, however 100k in sales it’s not ground breaking.

Well Today In This Dane Age It Is Good.. Cuz People No Longer Buy Music, So What Do you expect for the sales to be? 100k marks is damn good.. She’ll Do even Better On Tour..

Cardi is the new it girl. Nicki isnt hot anymore. What I don’t understand is, why is she trying to revive a feud with Cardi B? Why didn’t she have all of these tears with Kim or Remy?

    • Caleb April 13, 2018

Because Cardi’s career is taking off whereas Remy and Kim weren’t exactly on the come-up.

      • KillMonger Was Right (Tyler) April 13, 2018

        I feel it!

    • ??? April 13, 2018

      • Reezy August 17, 2018

Now Nicki’s “Queen” album sales are predicted to be behind Cardi total album sales by 100k. Damn “Queen”!

  3. Nah April 13, 2018

This girl is such a charity case I want to see her stand on her own and not give her something “for the culture” but talent. That album was culture 3, she’s literally a Miget/Miga (4th member of migos).

    • Caleb April 13, 2018

Migos don’t have songs like “Ring” and “thru your phone”

  4. Caleb April 13, 2018

Wow!! These numbers are higher than I ever would’ve imagined. There are some really good songs on the album like “Ring”, “money bag” and best of “thru your phone.”

  5. Jasmine April 13, 2018

Album is still garbage…. her 15 minutes will be over soon…

    • Soulmate April 13, 2018

My little 15 minutes lasting long as hell, huh?

  7. F You April 13, 2018

  8. Meme April 13, 2018

Congrats. I love the album. She def surpass my expectations with both sales and album content.

With that said. Please stop comparing Cardi to Nicki. She doesnt a fraction of the talent nicki have.

  11. Mike April 14, 2018

I was expecting like 500k but still great numbers none the less. It’s been amazing watching, supporting, and building up her to what she is today. I support (BUY) people who I feel like actually are genuine people

  12. Theman April 14, 2018

There are a few artists that can actually sale. These numbers are very good for Cardi. Had there been a physical release, she would have probably sold around 150-180k. Physical sales will help her album a lot too. She’s doing great & she has singles galore on this album. She could easily release 6-7 singles.
