Ariana Grande Announces New Album ‘Sweetener’ / Performs ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ On ‘Fallon’

Published: Wednesday 2nd May 2018 by Sam

Ariana Grande will be heating up the charts this summer with her brand new album – which has a confirmed title of ‘Sweetener.’

The petite powerhouse made the reveal during her hotly anticipated appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.’

Explaining the LP’s name, the 24-year-old said “it’s about bringing light to situations in life and also people that bring light to yours.”

The project marks the first body of work the star will have released since the Manchester terrorist attack at her ‘Dangerous Woman Tour’ last year. As such, the title no doubt has poignant layers of meaning.

Head below to watch her expand on the set and also perform lead single ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ – which opened at#3 on the Hot 100.

Ari next to never disappoints with her project; so we’re all sorts of buzzed to see what she’s baked with the likes of Pharrell, Max Martin, and Savan Kotetcha.

Never liked this girl, always seemed like a Mariah -wannabe WITH OUT the great songwriting, grammys, 250 million sold and all that. But her last CD was a bop, started liking her, Dangerous woman was a cute moment

Cute voice but the song is a terrible choice for a first single. Also, her styling is awful. She’s too short to be wearing babydoll dresses! Also, the bleach-blonde hair is only highlighting that tired ponytail, which is becoming a distraction at this point. Serve up something more filling Ariana…we’re tired of fast food. You’ve gone through a horrible tragedy…use those raw emotions to create a defining/inspiring musical moment.

For me the 1st single was a grower and not meant to be a chart topper. But its fitting to release a song like its her first new material after what happened in Manchester.

Sweetener? That’s an awful album name. I hope she changes it to Sweet or Sweeter.

I have no idea why but it reminds me of “One Sweet Day” and “Daydream”… :/
