Cardi B has pulled her Instagram account down following a social media clash with Azealia Banks who criticised the rapper’s supposed illiteracy and cheap vulgarity in an interview with ‘The Breakfast Club.’
Banks, who is very critical of Cardi’s position in Pop culture, revealed that she believes Cardi’s look, style and sound did little to help art forms fuelled by black women and that the ‘Bodak Yellow’ did not know how to read or write properly.

Today, Cardi has deleted her Instagram account and issued the statement below in response to Banks’ jabs!

Reverse psychology will not work here. As a Black Woman in hiphop it is IMPERATIVE that you use your (new found) Black Womanhood responsibly.
