Promises of ‘it’s coming’ burned the ears of loyal Christina Aguilera fans for almost 6 years after the release of her 2012 album, ‘Lotus.’
Now, over a week after they continue to celebrate the unveiling of her latest set, ‘Liberation,’ the fear of when its follow-up will be delivered has undoubtedly crept across the mind of a few. To ease that worry Aguilera, 37, has offered assurance the wait won’t be nearly as long for the yet-titled project.

“I don’t wanna take a long break,” she says. “After this album, I’m back in my artist mode. I don’t want to let that go again. I have a great team of writers and people behind me that I can just reach out to now.”
She went on to add:
“It’s been great being able to take the time on this record to get to know people. We’ll continue pulling through, so maybe there is another record sooner than you think after this one.”
Given the critical and commercial response to the project (despite the absence of a hit single to precede its release), it’s clear there is a place in modern day music for Xtina.
We know we’re not the only ones already ready for what else she’s been cooking up in the lab!

Instead of chasing sounds and trying to be versatile like Rih and queen Bey straintina needs to stick to the big to mellow ballads cause voice lacks the range for anything else Genrewise

This album was not it and after the wait she naturally build a level of expectation she was never gonna meet. I wanted more ‘Pipe’ and ‘Unless It’s With You’ from this album and got 60% filler album tracks instead.

Ugh! It seems the biggest haters of Xtina are Beyoncé fans. Not content with the fact that their fave has enough commercial success to see if much of her competition, the fact that Xtina can still wipe the floor with Beyoncé vocally and artistically clearly has the Hive all sorts of shook. I mean, why else would they come for Xtina on every post if they don’t perceive her as a threat. Fans of Mariah had to make peace with Whitney, fans of Aaliyah had to make peace with Brandy.., Beyoncé has not had a counterpart in all her years of success so The Hive have not learned how to show respect to her fellow peers.
Girl Christina can’t even mop the floor with Demi or Lady Gaga and you think she can with Beyoncé? Artistically? Only Christina fans think her boring tepid music is this super complex thing. They also think because they say she’s the voice of a generation that she is. Britney and Beyonce have had way more impact than Christina, Pink as well. Pink and Beyonce sing better than Christina, so there’s that!
I have respect for Christina but her fans are doing way too much. Who cares about her album sells when overall Beyonce has out grossed every tour and out sold her in general? Beyonce also didn’t have to join a reality show that has yet to create a star, just to stay relevant. They aren’t the same, one is an actual superstar, with critical acclaim. The other is a has been who hasn’t been able to sell 1 million albums in the US across three whole eras. I’d be salty too if I were a fan of hers.

Christina had two failed albums consecutively and have not toured in 10 yrs which btw that b2b tour outsold Beyonce sacha not so feirce tour. Exactly! @Richard86.., I’m saying all The Hive needed to do was say ‘Well done Xtina’ and keep it moving, but they are dragging her every chance they get as if she slept with their man and stole from their mama. If she was indeed the irrelevant has been flop they say she is then why are they going so HAM to not only discredit her recent accomplishment but also her talent, which let’s be real, is dangerous ground considering Xtina is one of the few modern day vocalists with an actual voice.
