While some of the offerings from Zayn Malik‘s yet-titled sophomore album – the follow-up to 2016’s chart-topping ‘Mind of Mine’ – have managed to crack the top 20 on the U.K. side of the pond, Stateside the releases haven’t fared nearly as well.
Not even breaking into the top 40 on the Hot 100, none of the tunes (to date) have managed to drum up the buzz cuts found aboard his inaugural LP boasted. That could all change thanks to ‘Too Much’ – Malik’s forthcoming release featuring superproducer Timbaland at the helm.
“Felt good, but now I feel bad. Like I know I can’t take it back. No there’s nothing I can say,” he sings over Timbo’s trademark stylings. But, will it be enough to ignite genuine interest in the crooner’s soon-to-drop second album?

Ni99a has more lives than a cat. This is his what…4th attempt at a 1st single? I don’t understand why he hasn’t been dropped. He will not catch on, the interest is no longer there. Which is sad because he has an amazing voice and good looks. All the makings of a superstar but he is too lazy.
He could have been really big, but as you said, he is lazy. And actually his whining about not wanting to be a popstar while releasing single after single is annoying and makes him unlikeable. These weird not wanting to be a star tactics are not working in 2018 anymore.
Timbaland in this day and age? Zayn should have promoted Entertainer its a good song. He missed his window!

I barely know who this is. I looked at the comments just to confirm the first thought that popped into my mind which was, ‘Isn’t this the one who was whining about being in the music industry?’ I don’t understand why there’s new music. Is he trying to finish out a contract before he can walk away for good?

Zayn has a masterpiece with the song ENTERTAINER … why TF is that not on the world’s radar? It’s literally a masterpiece R&B-pop record!
Nobody is Buying what Zayn is selling. He doesn’t interact with his fans is on his 4th new single in a short period of time without a single live performance, radio promo tour and or TV appearances. He doesn’t even go live on Instagram. The Anxiety Argument is an excuse especially considering many other Artists have battled the same Pushed Thru same as the average person who doesn’t have the luxury of only working when the anxiety subsides.
