Published: Monday 23rd Jul 2018 by Sam

Maxwell is hitting the road!

The Soul-filled serenader is gearing up for the release of new album ‘NIGHT’ (the concluding part of his ‘BLACKsummers’night‘ trilogy).

So what better way to amplify buzz than to launch a companion show?!

Officially christened ‘Maxwell: 50 Intimate Nights Live,’ the trek kicks off in September in Richmond, VA and will see the crooner rocking stages across the US right through to December.

The dates will take place after the gifted singer rocks AfroPunk Paris and North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam earlier this month.

Wow that is a very packed touring schedule. I see you Maxwell making that 4th quarter money for next year. LOL

SnoozeFest. Mary J Blige SAVED that last tour. He is a snoozefest, I guess that’s what happens when you SPEND ALL YOUR TIME WITH YOUR GAY WHITE MALE FRIENDS, and alienate your black audience. FRAUD

…he couldn’t get anyone to touch up or airbrush the poster?

      He looks fine to me.

i mean, it’s ok for instagram stories i guess. but it seems like a lower-quality photo and they sloppily adjusted the contrast. it looks amateur-ish.

I didn’t want to see him on the Hollering Mary Tour, but this time I’m going.

I agree. I passed last time too. I saw Mary J at Essence Festival and she impressed but she has never been my cup of tea LIVE. Maxwell touring by himself or with someone like Alicia Keys or Jazmine Sullivan is what I want to see so I am going to see him this time.

Glad to see him out on the road. Always enjoyed him live. Looking forward to the new album…

Can’t be mad at artists doing spotted dates, when albums aren’t being sold!!
