Published: Tuesday 10th Jul 2018 by Rashad

Lil Kim is sending out a reminder that time nor motherhood have tamed her hard-hitting style with the new single, ‘Nasty One.’

Already making noise on international markets, the cut – a dancehall-inspired gem – is believed to be a taste of what she’s been working on for her first effort since 2016’s ‘Lil Kim Season.’

Curious what she’s serving up?  See inside:

She wanna be West Indian so bad!!!! Since foxy tapped into that side In the 90s

    • Thatflopjuice July 11, 2018

Fun fact: Kim was the first to spit Jamaican patois in her rhymes a la DJ Funkmaster flex freestyle in 1997. “Some time a gyal fi get KUFF.” Plus everybody in Brooklyn is influenced by West Indian music and culture in some way. Do your hip hop research before talking cray, hun. (P.S. Foxy not even Jamaican nor is Spongebob so sit down)

Um, youve been misinformed dear. Foxy is Trinidadian. And her west indian patoi flow dates back to DJ Marley Marl’s 1996 freestyle mixtapes, so yeah, she did it before kim. Next time do better research.

The auto-tune killed it for me. I did like the beat though.

  4. Kaz July 11, 2018

    This actually sounds hot fr

  5. Intro July 11, 2018

Minus the autotune, this is actually solid. The beat and the few bars she spit ??. She should have rapped more.

This the first time I’ve actually had high hope and was disappointed for a Lil Kim track. When I heard the title I was expecting her nast, freak h**, deep vocal, 90’s Kim. What the f*** was this? What kind of Nicki Minaj trash is this? You ain’t supposed to be Nicki, its supposed to be the other way around!

Dutty b****, open up yuh madda stink crotches and go do your research GOOD. Stop making up lies, KIm did it first and Foxy popularized it with Broken Silence aka after she stop swaggerjacking Az, nas and kim’s flows. And for the record Trinidadians don’t speak the same as Jamaicans. Know your place. dingbat.
