After the disappointing release of Teyana Taylor‘s ‘K.T.S.E’ album, G.O.O.D Music’s final release of the summer, the star has revealed that the unfinished version of the album has been scrapped.

Via social media, she cited a reign of clearance issues and misunderstandings as the cause. She said the following to a fan:

With a mixed reception from fans and critics, following the set’s release, TT made her disappointment known on ‘Big Boy’s Neighborhood’ and promised to drop a second version of the album.
At the time, she said
“Saturday, Sunday, you’ll hear the complete version of the album. At the end of ‘Issues,’ I had the Sade piece in there. The end of ‘Rose in Harlem,’ I had Lauryn Hill’s ‘Lost Ones’ in there, and I was really talking that shit,” she continued. “Once y’all hear the album next week, you’ll see what I’m talking about, because it’s way more complete.”
While fans are pointing and blaming executive producer Kanye West, the 27-year-old is playing safe politics and dishing out the fault to everyone involved in the inception of the album.
“I’d have to blame a little bit of everybody because we set the date and we had the listening party, and then we had clearance issues. As far as the clearance issues, I don’t know. I feel like everybody plays a part. With Ye, he really wanted me to be happy, and he knew that the wait was killing me.”

Such a missed opportunity. It’s unfortunate that Teyana has fallen victim to the creative madness that has ensued under the guise of ‘Ye. As talented as an artist TT is, it might be beneficial for her to take the advice from her beloved fans and remove herself from the G.O.O.D Music moniker.
Honestly its just pathetic at this stage.

I usually don’t entry on Teyanna posts but felt compelled to say her record label did her wrong. If the pic above is her album cover I hate it and the tracklist / song length seemed very short and like an EP rather than an album. With all this talk about clearances for such a short tracklist it is obvious to me that Kanye did not spend a lot of money on producers, songwriters, or musicians but rather just used a bunch of samples whose owners never got paid for. She should learn from this experience, leave Kanye’s label if she can, and find another label who will invest in her music.
It’s not a good album. I only liked WTP. Nothing else stood out.

At this point, RUN AWAY from the music company. Not that it will help because the music career is over. And that’s a shame….

Beyonce has chloe x Halle working none stop. They’re on TV shows released a ep and then an album. PERFORMING at the Bet awards and mtv, wwe , NBA national anthem. And this is just too create a buzz. This is still while creating album and touring on her own. They’re also her opening act for the u.s. leg of the tour. People talk crap about beyonce but clearly she is doing more for them than kanye tt. And between the two tt is more known.

From the moment it was announced that she signed with Kanye West I knew her album was headed for disaster. An self obsessed egomaniac will never give another artist the complete attention their career deserves.

Kanye managed to get all the other albums he released by himself and other artists in this short time-frame to debut in the top 10 on the album chart. Seems like he put Teyana on the back-burner in favor of Pusha T, himself, Kid Cudi and even Nas.
I noticed the same thing. Didn’t want to make this a misogyny thing, but there it is.
It is just a shame. The album was decent because it was short. Didn’t fully showcase her as an artist. Plus her last album was better but no promotion. That man has dropped the ball twice or maybe Teyana dropped the ball! Either way get together or do other stuff girl!
