In tragic news, it’s being reported that the son of Tina Turner has committed suicide.
Full story below…
According to TMZ, Craig Raymond Turner died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home in Studio City, California.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene upon the arrival of authorities around 12 noon today.
The 59-year-old was Turner’s first child – born when she was just 18. And though he biologically was fathered by saxophonist Raymond Hill, he was adopted by Ike Turner, who took him under his wing upon marrying Tina. Interestingly, Hill was part of Ike’s band.
Craig’s passing comes after his mother made a rare appearance at Paris Fashion Week today.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
How awful.
Wow may he rest in peace.
Prayers to Queen Tina and her family! ?? Very sad ?
I and we are so sorry to hear this. My husband and I have dreams ( facebook@seeingandknowing) a good bit of the time and I had one just a few days ago and it was about superstar– Mariah Carey. Well, turns out it meant a connection to Ms. Tina Turner. Our deepest sympathy to the family and friends.
What is going on with this world? This awful tragedy is become too common. Are we so depressed that we can’t seek God? I feel for Tina and family.
Some people don’t believe in God and therefore can’t find him.
I think It’s so disrespectful to kys while yur parents are still alive.
Then stop being a fat f^ck. Clean that colon, lose that weight and reverse that diabetes.

Praying for Tina and her family
Leave him alone.damn… he is not the celebrity his mother is tiiii
I didn´t know she had a son. I´m serious.
Tina has 4 sons. 2 biological and 2 adopted. Her adopted son Ike Jr recently gave an interview saying Tina has abandoned her family in the USA. She has a trust fund for her sons but she doesn’t communicate with them. Out of all of them she was closest to Craig, he didn’t have any children and never married. Hopefully this tragedy will bring their family closer together and Tina will mend her relationship with her surviving sons and grandchildren.
I’m sorry for Tina’s loss. But, I just have to say that it’s interesting how they conveniently left any reference to her having a relationship and child with one of Ike’s band mates out of the movie.
its a movie. they left a lot out.
Left out a lot and lied a lot. The movie is only loosely based on Tina’s book. Tina had no control over the script so the writers had creative freedom to fabricate scenes like the r*** scene and cake scene never happened in real life either. Tina has never watched the movie because she didn’t like the script and she said she wished it had more truth.
@anne Bingo!! There are a lot of people in the industry that felt Ike Turner had got a bad rap, because of Tina’s book and that movie. Although, Ike admitted to doing some of the things stated in the movie, it was exaggerated and a small part of his and her life. I’m sure as musicians of the 60’s, 70’s, that both Tina and Ike partook in lots of drugs and drinking, but they conveniently left out all of Tina’s vices and the possibility that the violent outburst might have occurred while they were both getting high and not in their right minds, which still isn’t an excuse.
The white men behind Tina’s comeback and come up in the mid-eighties designed the plan to demonize Ike Turner, the black man and make Tina look like a victim, saint and survivor. It was a marketing and rebranding of her. People bought it and it still works today at the cost of Ike Turner’s reputation. Tina as she got older began to admit that all that was said about him wasn’t true or was exaggerated. She is trying to distance herself from the damage done to Ike Turner, but she wrote the book that was made into a movie and benefited from the story-line. If you look at any music chart from the 60’s to the mid-80’s. Tina Turner was never or rarely on any top ten list until they re-branded her and found their niche as a victim and survivor. I believe Nick Canon spoke out about how Ike Turner has been mistreated and misrepresented and was talking about putting together a film that represents his true legacy.
