Cardi B Apologizes To Martin Luther King’s Family For ‘Offensive’ Skit

Published: Tuesday 28th Aug 2018 by Rashad

As we reported here, uproar ensued after rapstress Cardi B teamed with ‘Off the Rip’ for a segment that many deemed ‘offensive.’

Portraying civil rights leader Coretta Scott King, wife of Dr. Martin Luther King, in the clip called the ‘Real Housewives of the Civil Rights Movement,’ the jokes housed in the skit were branded ‘racist,’ ‘insensitive,’ and more by a number of viewers once it surfaced on TMZ.

Even labelled ‘repulsive’ by Dr. Bernice King (the youngest daughter of the legendary King family), news has now surfaced the Grammy-nominated femcee has issued an apology for the hoopla caused.  More inside:

The tweet above was lifted today just a day after TMZ unveiled the Cardi video (which was reportedly shot three years ago).

St Nick needs to apologize for her “these nappy headed h*** need a perminator” and calling BW monkeys lyrics. Yet she’s supposed to represent BW. What a joke.

It’s great that Cardi took responsibility in apologizing because she’s never had a racist bone in her. She jokes and all but she has always keep it real and humble.
But isn’t it funny after she announced new music collaborations and video this decides to be brought up and made into an issue now after so long. And take attention away from Nicki’s mess.???

The problem is that society has gotten to loose, comedians feel they can make jokes about anything, but some areas they shouldn’t touch, it’s not really funny, I mean it’s more making fun of a serious thing, more hurtful to others, some boundaries shouldn’t be crossed,,its a f****** shame,,,tony
