Though the set’s pure sales have been nightmarish, ‘Privacy‘s success on Spotify has carried the album to global glory and seen her hold a number of Top 40 positions this week…months after its April release.
The next market to welcome her back into its Top 40 mix? The United Kingdom.
The album rose by one spot on this week’s Official Chart and added a fresh pair of legs to its bid to return to the Top 40 thanks to the release of its latest single ‘Ring‘, produced by the Nigerian maestro Scribz Riley.
The good news doesn’t stop there for female rappers.
For, this week also saw Nicki Minaj extend her reign as the highest/longest charting lady lyricist in the market thanks to numbers amassed by her new album ‘Queen‘ which- though struggling on a pure sales tip in the United States- is faring excellently in Europe and Asia.
It’s nice. I am glad when Nicki or Cardi, they have success out from United States. That shows that they are huge super stars and they need to continue to be serious behind the eyes of the world.
