Nicki Minaj is making a beeline for the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.
For, it’s been announced that Onika will be taking to the stage at the August 20th extravaganza.

The slot serves as a major coup for Minaj, whose new album ‘Queen’ drops arrives a few days prior on August 17th.
Her royal highness joins the likes of Ariana Grande, Travis $cott, Post Malone, and Video Vanguard honoree Jennifer Lopez on the performer bill.
The 2018 VMAs airs live August 20th from Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Literally no hype for this album, sis should of have postponed by a year…. and ultimate kii at her releasing same day as Ari…… oh well it will atleast do better than Iggy s latest effort

Yes! Because lip syncing, playing in your hair and stifly pacing back and forth across the stage is exactly what the “live” performance list was lacking ???
You know, if you look at her past performances she has actually r**** live. I can’t say that for some of your favorites.
She’ll probably do that 15-20min slot that beyonce usually books every era… It definitely would be smart… because she has the hits and I think the audience may need a reminder of why they fell in love with her. Because right now, I don’t feel the hype around her new release. Not even coming from a “good for hip hop” standpoint. It’s like she’s being FORCED into retirement.
J.Lo has the 15-20 minute slot that beyonce had a few years ago that every artist has for the vanguard awards. Nicki is not a performer
We so A 15 min slot would be an embarrassment. I don’t think she’s being forced into retirement I think she’s being forced into growing TF up and making some music that fits her age and is not the same ol thing she has released since her debut. She needs to evolve or retire
