Ever striking, the singer scorches as she gears up for a busy Fall.
Currently touring with Bruno Mars on his 24k Magic Tour, CiCi will be taking to the stage at the 2018 American Music Awards to perform. She’ll be joined by longtime collaborator Missy Elliott.

On how Destiny’s Child’s morning news show performance inspired her to become an entertainer:
“They were killing it, and I just went, ‘This is what I want to do. I’m gonna be an entertainer…’ The first goal I wrote down was to get discovered. The second was to sell 3 to 4 million records. Third, have longevity.”
On her unshakable ambition:
“I never thought, I can’t be because of the color of my skin, I can’t be because of my gender. No dream is too big. I want to be a billionaire. The more resources, the more you can do. But I think my greatest accomplishment 10 years from now is that I would have a successful life as it pertains to my marriage and being a mom. It’s cool to want to do all these creative things, but it’s no good to gain the world if you lose your soul.”
On dealing with trolls:
“When someone comes for you and you didn’t send for them, you keep your eye on the prize. I know what my mission is. I know what I’m hoping for and working hard for every day. And that’s my focus. I’m not going to let people steal my joy. I move on. New day, new opportunity, new energy, let’s go

Never been a fan of Ciara bcuz I just happen to appreciate artists that are vocally talented… however I love her mindset & grind! It’s that scorpio in her similar to me… She just dont settle… she makes her team work for her & make sure she is progressing & not staying in the same place… this is what I hate about my fave she settles & every era there’s no progress… no bigger gigs, no better opportunities… she doesn’t think big… hopefully she drops new music soon… but it’s been 5 fkn years in still no progress!?

Ey? She just released ‘level up’ ‘freak me’ & ‘Dose’
Cici has never tried to be a big time vocalist, but an awesome entertainer she is. Almost all of her songs are dance hits that you can jam to or sultry music you can sing along with. She is always on point image wise. I wish she could get more endorsement deals to ‘level up’ & get her closer to that billionaire status, but then maybe that’s why she married wealthy. I’m proud of her.
I feel like some Ciara fans are not going to be here for her saying that Beyonce is the one who inspired her to choose the career path she chose.
