Fifth Harmony’s Dinah Jane Delivers Dynamite Performance Of ‘Bottled Up’ On ‘Fallon’ [TV Debut]

Published: Tuesday 9th Oct 2018 by Sam

Dinah Jane may be Fifth Harmony‘s youngest member, but she brought all of the seasoning to her debut TV performance as a soloist.

The 21-year-old took front-stage center on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ where she performed premiere single ‘Bottled Up.’

Backed by an elaborate themed set, a troop of dancers, and guests Ty Dolla $ign and Marc E. Bassy, Jane jammed to the turn-up anthem with vivacious vigour.

Watch her werk it after the jump…

She came, she slayed, she conquered!

Vocals, sass, choreo, Dinah delighted on all-fronts.

If this is her first swing of the bat, we’re almost too excited for what’s to come!

Well I was not expecting that at all… A LOT of boppage! Who knew 5H would have been such a star factory I’m here for it…

I like Dinah. She is continuing the fifth harmony sound. She did better than I thought. Marc Bassy sounded horrible. Dinah also has a new nose. I’m curious about Lauren.

Yea she does look a lot different in the face , her nose is a lot smaller then it was..?

This song is beneath her I decided to see her x-factor solo performances this girl got some serious vocals and I wanna see if that on her solo journey….she got the full package as well.

Never paid her much attention while she was in 5th Harmony, and I wasn’t that interested in this song when I first spun it on Spotify…but god damn! She came and slayed the f**k out!!

Now this is pop star! She literally just wiped the floor with the other 2 5th harmony girls.

Gimme more! She sang, she danced, and she was gorgeous as hell.

She was given me Britney (in per peak) and Janet vibes! Hell yeah!!

    good job

Loved the performance, just thought the features distracted too much from her. Maybe next single?

While I cant say I loved the performance, i do agree the features took away from her. As she grows as a solo, maybe there will be more spark. She needed better costuming, too. Still waiting on Normani…

  8. XAVIER’S CLONE October 9, 2018

THAT WAS LATE. SONG IS LATE

  9. Beam Me Up Scotty October 9, 2018

I guess the performance was good, but the song is meh.

  10. pat October 9, 2018

cute, but normani gonna eat this ho up

  11. SMH October 9, 2018

Cute performance. Normani better come on with it already though, people aren’t gonna wait too much longer.

  12. Moti October 9, 2018

Um get rid of that Justin Timberlake wanna be. Just use the vocals on the chorus. Great job though

    Come on solo star quality!!

I’m here for it but my original opinion still stands. This looks like a continuation of 5H last era in every way. The song is cheap and isn’t fit in either top 40 radio or Urban radio.

Performance was good. Song is meh. Her vocals have much more potential, but I understand the first song is suppose to be a radio hit. Looking out for what else she has in store.

*sits patiently for Normani debut solo single*

“Came, slayed, and conquered”? What am I missing?? The performance was nothing spectacular. Though she can definitely sing her a$$ off, she didn’t sound very good here. The performance was lackluster. She has a lot of work to do before she’s “solo ready”, but she has a lot of potential.

I don’t see this girl going anywhere. She’s talented but I don’t see the IT factor. Sometimes things just don’t go the way we want but I’m glad that she is TRYING to pursue her dream of being a solo artist. I just don’t see it being successful.
